no bearded THOR....if they want to do another Bearded Scult, fine! but I'm sick of the beard...I want mine classic

Well they have to do what appeals to most, which would be bearded. However looking at DP, Batman, and superman, I think both heads is more than likely

who says? The movie? or do people actually really want Thor with a beard? My memories of Thor looks like this

Well I dont have a definitive source, and everyone has a different preference but it seems to me to be the more in demand look atm. Personally ill take either or

I've gotta admit, I'm on the clean shaved Thor bus. The beard is a great look, but we need the classic representation here.

These are my favorite representation of Thor. He looks like Vikings would worship the guy. But of course, we're talking about the classic. So I'm fine with that. But I never started or grew up with the classic comics, therefore they're never a first choice of mine. And I agree that Thor needs his damn helmet!

The pre-order notice came on my smartphone so I logged into the site on my desk PC, but the site was responding awkwardly to say the least so I submitted my pre-order through the smartphone, but I've yet to receive the e-mail verifying my order. The order is present in my Sideshow account profile. I called Sideshow about and was informed that their website/system experienced issues on Thursday & Friday specifically affecting online functions when it came to orders for DEADPOOL so some e-mail notices never got triggered and cannot be generated even though the order appear on one's profile.

OH, WELL . . .

Happened to me too. Was the order actually placed is the question though.

This is where I'd place my money too. One regular Thor sculpt and then either an additional bearded head or the bearded as the Exclusive.

I'm in the bearded Thor camp as well. I'm not sure you can call Rune King the "classic" version but the Masterson one IMHO qualifies as semi-classic. Not FA but not modern.

I think u start w/ no beard and then do variants.

This line could be a totally rockin gold mine if they play this right. Doom is a must as the last 1/6 Doom was $20 and had the quality to match. She Hulk would be awesome. But I'd love to see characters made who aren't immediately on he radar. Dr strange, iron fist, green goblin.

Really like the prototype. Hopefully I'll have enough dough by the time this releases to pick it up. Then Wolv!

I don't mind the material, but wonder why they went this way. They did the DC line with spandex looking material.

I just hope when they do their Spider-Man he'll have the spandex looking material. And hoping it is good enough to be the definitive comic 1:6 Spidey figure (cuz I'm holding off on the HT Amzng Spidey 2)

That's gonna change...at least this line will have one cohesive look. The DC line is going to switch to a more "interpreted" look as well.

Really having buyers remorse on this. I may cancel. I passed on all the Hot Toys Marvel figures because of the higher prices and they are honestly more well done than this will be. Though he looks cool I'm not really even a fan of the character. I guess I have some time to figure it out thankfully.

How do you know? Hot Toys haven't done any comic book Marvel figures.

I called Sideshow provided the order number in my account profile.

They verified it's in the system; therefore, I'm good.

If you're in doubt, don't post about it. Call them and speak with a rep.

Yup.

If I were to take a guess, seeing how SSC's Marvel approach is giving classic costumes a slight realistic and worn out flavor, I'm guessing (and hoping) they use Marvel now's Thor as template... I can already see it:

A worn out helmet with metal wings that go down to his chin, on top only a weathered black leather vest with his iconic metal circle thingies, the two top circles will be holding his (maybe removable) cape, it has to be a fluffy cape, that gives him the illusion of even bigger shoulders.

Leather-like pants with the front segment of the leg covered by chainmail and his boots, also worn out.

To my liking, no chainmail on the arms.
