Looks better than the last few sideshow figures but still think it's a bit over priced to buy.

I don't get why these companies struggle so much to match the prototypes, you've done it once so do it again! It's just so misleading otherwise!

I would say a lot of it is because prototypes are done by the actual artists. There is probably more attention given to the piece. The mass produced pieces are all painted in chinese factories and they have thousands to go through. It's a sped up process and results in less than perfect representations.

Usually your hands are flopping around in between the figure and the camera. I imagine that is even more distracting in 4k.

There is some! It's not spectacular but the boots are designed to allow for some wider stances, just not super extreme. I'll be sure to show it off in my video

Unless the lighting is making them look off, the eyes are incorrect. They're supposed to be ringed in red with the yellow center.

They are correct on the prototype though.

Or they are painted very well, as is usually the case with prototypes.

Either way, that's what the eyes are supposed to look like.

Looks decent but still seems pretty overpriced to me. As much as I don't like the prequels Maul looks cool but I don't think I'd bother buying this. Still think he should have had a couple more accessories for what he costs too. Maybe the cloak and binoculars.

I really want a maul in my collection. But I have such a hard time pulling the trigger on anything that SS manufacturers lately. I have been buying directly from them since 2003 and have watched the quality of all pieces PF, 1/6, life size etc plummet. Waiting for Hot toys take on maul.
