Thanks for the info, so about $200 to replace the head, hands, and costume of the first release sans weapons, stand, and body. I assume the neck comes with the head so that's not a bad route for me.

70 is more than I thought but I think I might try for one. Mine is a custom cut medi head on a 89 Batman neck and a hot toys body.

One of these days I'll download the app to make adding pictures not so terrible. Also need to fuz him

Finally got that stupid belt back on after an hour of swearing! Do NOT take that belt off because it's an absolute pain in the arse to put back! Still, the figure does display well.

Thanks for the heads up on the belt. Great shot...looks really good.
Should have mine by the end of next week. After the good reviews and great pictures, I'm pretty excited for this one now. ..

Thanks again for the early look...

If anybody is looking for a robe from the 1st sideshow version, feel free to pm me. I have one that i'm not using.

I know this has been mentioned many times before - but seriously, the folks over at Sideshow must have been smoking some serious drugs when they decided on a price for this figure.

When you look at just about every other figure out there, you can (kind of) grasp their thinking - but this is simply insane for what (little) you get.

Great looking figure - and I'd buy it in a heartbeat - if only I could justify the price.

Lmao perfect qoute

Does Sideshow even listen to feedback from customers? Really all it would take for them to start making better business decisions would be to look at the comments in this forum. They are not Hot Toys quality yet somehow think they can charge more than Hot Toys or similar companies.
That being said, I think this Darth Maul is great albeit having aforementioned issues.

I did this to help tide you over, Jedibear. ;) Went for like a mid-behind-the-back-spin type pose... Love how the wires in the outfit really let you try and give some idea of motion to the poses.

I should get a real camera. And some decent lighting. Sorry for the potato quality.

Anyone have any shots of this guy in the originals hooded robe?
Forgive the pics. Best I can do. Also, forewarning... the hood looks ten times more natural in person than in these ****** pics.

Love this figure so far. Don't think it should've been higher than $200, but meh. One of the best looking figures in my collection now. So happy to finally have a damn good Maul. The ear paint look isn't even a problem for me. Luckily, the neck line and the rest of the face was flawless.

gotta say in hand all the imperfections are not at all noticeable. the body really isnt so much loose as it is smooth. i cant stop posing this one. im actually impressed with this one sideshow :clap

Great pics everyone. Just ordered with $75 rewar points to help ease the rediculous asking price. Maul was always my 2nd favorite smith next to Vader (move over whiny Kylo Ren). Looking forward to receiving later this week.
