No way!

jlcmsu said:I'm sure it will be seen as a must have for sure by lots folks. However, I think if your willing to get one through SS it will be more than easy to get one. If you want to play the ebay game it might cost ya more. That's your choice if ya do but if you want to get on the wait list and are willing to wait I believe you'll get one at retail with little problem.
Protozaius said:That's assuming that you have the "hunger" for this figure before the pre-order date.![]()
Protozaius said:So often, people think they don't need the figure until they see it somewhere, perhaps in some friend's collection. The coolness factor of a figure can grow. I'm also talking about the general public, collectors that are just getting into collecting 1:6 scale figures (after YEARS of being disappointed with the Hasbro fare) because of the cool factor of these Sideshow pieces. And that number will grow for every piece that is released.
Protozaius said:I'm sure that a Human Spike was easy to get too during pre-order time, too.But now that the word is out that it is a must have figure, and the fan base of Buffy is constantly growing, people like me are too late to score one at a decent price and have to play the Ebay game.

Sith Lord 0498 said:Since I just cancelled my ED-209 pre-order at my wife's request, I decided I might as well try for Vader. If I manage to score a non-attendee piece or get one on the wait list, I plan on posing him like that first shot in the teaser trailer with the hood up and the eyes staring straight ahead.
BTW, if us non-attendees are banking on trying to get one of the figures that doesn't get picked up at SDCC, which waiting list do we get on? The attendee, the non-attendee, or both???
pjam said:Get on the non-attendee wait list ASAP, any returned items will go to that list. Once SDCC is over, it's over.
jlcmsu said:He's saying once it's sold out for non-attendees get on that wait list any not picked up by those going, canceled, etc will go to a wait list for those that missed out be it if they went to SDCC or not.

Wor-Gar said:Its always good to have a pre-Vader Anakin.
Gives you another to pose with the inevitable Palpatine, while Sith Eyes Anakin can duel with Kenobi.
Customikey said:I was thinking of flipping me Anakin Ex., but now I sort of feel like I have something rare and precious on order, so maybe I'll just hold on to him. I'm not super-thrilled with the Holo-Sidious exclusive, but I sort of think it will change from the prototype in some way that will make it more worthwhile for display.
gdb said:You make an excellent point. Sith Eyes can't really pose with Palpatine... Of the two Anakins, Sith Eyes is the definate must have. It's just hard to justify 55 plus CA sales tax (and con. admission and gas from LA) for what at heart is a slight repaint of a figure I already have. It would be easier to swallow if he's the only Anakin in my collection... but you make an excellent point.
gdb said:You could probably flip the Holo-Sidious alone for the price of the figure if you write your eBay copy well enough.
Wor-Gar said:If we all had the Sith Eyes version already and they offered the pre-Vader Anakin now, would you buy it?
