He did. But I don't recall him using it at the drop of a hat. He used them when he needed them. Not whenever he felt like it.

He shot people in the face. And didn't use a pen shooter....well...he did...but in that fake Bond movie.

Never is more of a real bond movie than anything Broccoli released between Diamonds and Casino. :exactly:

Blaugh. I'd rather watch ****ing Moonraker.

I can't stand that movie. Connery's old ass running around, without any care. It's so terrible.

He was a better Bond in The Rock.

The only thing Never Say Never Again was missing was Monty's theme. And it was by far better than A View to A Kill and one of the most grotesque kisses in movie history, between Moore and Jones. :gah:

Wasn't there also a computerized anti-toxin shot in the kit as well? :lol Nice try guys, but still qualifies as a "gadget."

Like the ones they issue any of the troops overseas? My brother also has one of those Epi-pens too. Hardly a gadget. Remove cap, press against thigh, then discard when finished. The only real gadget in that scene was the analyzer he stuck in his arm that ran a test to diagnose which poison he was given.

Last time I checked, the contents of an Epi-pen couldn't be altered by a computer in another country to produce the correct anti-toxin to counter poison. :lol

:lecture:lecture:lecture Like, say, a glove box defibrillator. :exactly:

I should clarify the point I was trying to make because I didn't do a good enough saying it the first time.

What I meant was that the Bond gadgets were so ridiculous and obnoxious by the time CASINO ROYALE came with more plausible gadgets that people really didn't miss the quirker gadgets from the older movies. Personally, I can't wait to see what the new Q has in store for Bond! :)

We already saw the hand print recognition gun in the preview, but I want a carbon-fiber clip-on bowtie that transforms into a shuriken when you activate it!!!!!

A defibrillator and epipen aren't gadgets. However, the way he uses the defibrillator is not realistic at all. A defibrillator will not shock you if it detects a heartbeat. And if you overrode those settings somehow, sending the shock while you're conscious with a beating heart would stop your heart and kill you. However, comparing that to the gadgets from the Moore-Brosnan era is a reach and flat out silly nitpicking.... An invisible Aston Martin is probably the reason they decided to reboot. I like Brosnan's first three movies well enough, but I HATED his last one. The fencing scene was cool but that's about it.

I don't miss the gadgets. I love how brutal Craig is. It definitely is more in line with Fleming's original character and the way Connery played the character.

It's no more nitpicking than arguing the implausibility of an "invisible" Aston Martin. The technology exists to make something appear invisible by using cameras. Like the glove box defibrillator and computer modifiable EPI pen, the movie just took a smidge of creative license with it.

So it's been confirmed that Daniel Craig will play Bond at least 5 times, through Bond 24 and Bond 25.

As part of the deal that MGM reached with Sony, we could see Bond 24 in 2014, and Bond 25 in 2016. That would make Craig the second longest serving Bond (11 years) behind Roger Moore, and third in the number of outings as Bond behind Moore and Sean Connery, and just beating Pierce Brosnan.

He's gonna look old as ****! Ha ha. It is good news though. He's definitely making a claim to be the best bond ever.

Hard to argue mate but everyone has their own favourite Bond. Brosnan and Craig are tied for me. Casino is my favourite film.

When Casino hit. He automatically was the best Bond ever.

You could drive several Death Stars in the gap between Connery and Jason Bourn- I mean Daniel Craig.
