I'm hoping not Rory. It would suck to get a replacement that would have the same issues. I probably won't be displaying him much with the phase I helmet but its not acceptable non the less

I like the "Shiny" look to the new deluxe phase one clone...but the flat non shiny coating on the original clone trooper is also really nice...

And to think I got two clones for roughly $80 when gohastings had a sale. Now you get one for $150 and they are full of QC issues.

Anyone else get a deluxe clone with the QC issues above?? Really hoping not, but likely yes given 2 on the forum have had the same issue.

Never had to contact SS CS before, any particular email address good?

That's terrible, sloppy paint is one thing but fingerprints in the paint... shouldn't have left the factory.
I'd definitely send that one back.

The sloppy paint job is disappoiting but besides that it looks real solid, the pure white looks real slick.

I'll probably stick with the veteran but this does look good. I just hope the other clones don't have this type of QC.

To those that have the new clone and any older clones in hand, even the old commanders besides Wolffe, do you think their easier to pose? Looks like the armor is smaller and allows for more movement?

Yeah, that's what makes it so annoying, they got so many things right, the armor finish, the separate visor piece to sharpen the helmet. You can see all the intentions and planning was correct, just QC issues again....
