The mirrored visors were on the "special units" and the commanders have colored ones. I'm surprised they never made one though. Actually Gree has one.

Seems like a good place to ask this...

Can someone who has most if not all the 212th troops chime in and give a color comparison. It seems the orange/yellow is differs slightly across the board. I have Cody and he definitely looks more orange then other 212s. I ask because I would like to make a custom 212 and the less painting the better.

thx

Man, I'm new into collecting Star Wars sideshow and I ordered the 501st and Commander Wolffe. The 501st came by UPS today and my goodness, that figure is purely awesome!! Cannot wait to get commander wolffe!! I went ahead and used the summertime code before it expires to get the 212th trooper!!:yess:

After shiny a few weeks ago, i ordered both 501st and 212th today from my local source. Only the veteran will be missing from my ranks. Saving this one for a joined order with Security BD two pack.

After getting my 501st deluxe I'm surprised to see that the elbow joints on these new deluxe figures still cannot hold up the bigger weapons that well. Most of my older figures have this problem too. I thought maybe they gave us a new and improved body.

Shiny will be at my mailbox on thursday. Likely my only clone and he'll be displayed with marmit and ssc stormtroopers.

This duet showed up today on the door step. Those DX are a real improvment over the original release. Had a lot of fun posing them for a couple hours. I guess i'm not cloned out just yet

Shiny landed earlier today, but I'm not sure when I'll see him. It'll be one or two weeks minimum before I visit the mailbox for a pickup.

That is self control, I wouldn't be able to wait that long. I bought two shiny's and they go great with any lead character.

Always saw the taillights, but never how short the clones look compared to the Jedi in that scene. Poor composite maybe? So short.

Temuera Morrison 5' 7" ft (1.71 m) Tall
Ewan McGregor 5' 10" ft (1.79 m) Tall
Samuel L. Jackson 6' 2" ft (1.89 m) Tall

If anything, SSC clones too tall.

Well yes, but I was only referring to that scene, not the real life height of the actors. The clones are all CG anyway, so they could have made their height whatever they wanted.

I picked up a 501st at the Hot Toys shop whilst on holiday. Just got home and opened it, really good with lots of extras.

It was cheaper to fly to Hong Kong than pay SSC shipping to Australia.

Does the rotary gun somehow sit across the backpack?

Looks like us european stragglers get our long lost Deluxe clones this week (or next), my dealer has the 212th in stock as of now.

:lol

As bad as Attack of the Clones was, I love the visuals of the scene after Yoda has the Starship shot down and the clones and droids are having a firefight in the dust cloud. Really like that scene.
There's a episode on the clone wars tv series were the heros go back to geonosis, I think it's called landing at the point rain, or something anyway. That 22 minute episode ****s all over aotc battle scene we got in the movies. I'm just now checking out the series on Netflix :rock
