And in the SW Action Figures threads, we'll be b*tching about paying $1,525 for our standard 1/6 scale figures, when the previous year they were only $1,499. :lol

lulz

Sadly, no. As hot and sexy and boneriffic as this amazing kiss was, it would have been sooooo hot seeing Nose Lady slip some tongue to Carrie Jr.

Yep I was there also...

Star Wars was such a part of everyone's life back then.. I lived ad breathed SW.

All the adventures I created in my head with the action figures. Going to shopping stores and pouring over the SW isle. Wanting everything.

Listening to the soundtrack as that was the only way to see the movie multiple time.. Replaying it in your head.

Getting the Story of the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi records with actual dialogue form the film... Almost as good as seeing the movie.. I didn't get Story of Star Wars till many years later.. BUT Taping Star Wars on cassette tape from the TV when it was on HBO (or showtime) and playing that over and over again.

It was star wars morning day and night.. It consumed my every thought for the longest time.

Like Jye.. I would say its heroin.... But the Heroin has not been as good.. Not even close.

TLJ was the film that made me hit rock bottom. I was off of SW for a whole two years.. I couldn't even get into the OT... I just didn't care.

TROS was some great heroin.. Sure it was the cheap stuff but it gave me a nice brief high and has left me wanting more Star Wars again..

Been watching the OT with the kids and its been great. Love falling off the wagon :)

Bingo!

The novels!

Someone help me out, is this grab from a Star Wars flick or Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey?

Well, if you got a good "hit" from Rise of Skywalker, then how good was Mandalorian? Keith Richards good?

Half of Mandalorian gives me a good fix.. The other half is meh... I personally don't get the super love the show is getting. I like it but I am hoping it really finds its footing next season and has more of a running storyline with a true villain that appears in most episodes. Looks like we have one lets hope they use him all 2nd season.

Our "blu-rays" as kids were watching Saturday morning cartoons and hoping to see a Kenner ad that happened to show a few seconds of SW footage at the beginning, lol. That was "holy crap I just saw some of Star Wars at home!" :lol

:lol... Any little bit was great. Remember when they should the "making of" specials.... WOW!!!

I was lucky enough to score a cassette recording at the time from someone in the schoolyard (the precursor to the dark web!) Spent countless nights falling asleep to that under the covers.

I use to sleep to those all the time also.

In fact. I now have them all on an MP3 cd... And if I have trouble sleeping.. I pop it in.

The one thing Mando is severely lacking is a good nemesis. Clearly they are aware and establishing Gideon for S2. I'm not sure how great skinny Gideon will be but he's likely the psychological menace and will have several distinctive henchmen that he sends out to be the physical menaces.

:lol :lol

You should take that stupid face she's making as your new avatar just for the lulz. I mean is she any worse than that stupid farting camel? Hmm, actually never mind she totally is isn't she, lol.

Let's just say I don't mind seeing her leave LFL. :lol And no way am I having that as my avatar. The farting camel is less objectionable.

What an offensive suggestion.:lecture

I remember always watching just the beginning intro of Entertainment Tonight when it first started because they showed that shot of Vader's TIE shooting at Red Leader.

:lol

And the 1978 Oscars was freaking nirvana with all the SW footage they kept showing, lol.

Haha - and those super 8 film SW clip viewers they had (maybe kenner)? And even the SW Holiday Special had the actual mainline cast in it, plus stormies/DS troopers and snippets from ANH. Seeing SW footage was just so rare back in those days. I still remember when CBS-Fox released ANH on video in 1981 or so - it was like a dream come true but man, if you wanted to buy it was it $$$.:lol

And Entertainment Tonight had a ton of ROTJ footage (with a bit of the speeder bike chase), like a month before release or even more, that I managed to videotape. Wore that tape out.:yess:

Evidently, Kiri had never seen a Star Wars movie when she took the job.

Who's Kiri? Sounds like a SW animated character.:monkey3

How could you forget the Muppet Show?
