holy crap lol
Yeah definitely lol
The snake with girl dressed in white is just too damn close to Conan for me to actually hate it.
It is a real shame Saw Gerrera back story was never fleshed out of how he even came to being so cynical and paranoid that he resorted to using a mind reading secret weapon creature on people.
But as is Bor Gullet just comes out of left field and doesn?t work.
It?s crazy that I?m not really a fan of TROS yet it has my second favorite light saber battle in the entire 9 film saga ending in one incredibly emotional scene.

Well, nah - the frustrating thing for me is (and yet hopeful) prob. coz I'm into epic fantasy books (dunno) - is re the ST there's really good bones there, IMO. Some great sequences. Some good YT videos about editing and Abrams not giving stuff a chance to breathe e.g. the Michael Bay style.
Thinking about Abram's other work - IMO that's just who he is. He seems incapable of "cherishing" some really good stuff he introduced - for me the handling of Kylo is especially egregious - like, he just up and dies (instead of wandering off to exile and we get another film in a more capable director's hands). Wasting Finn. Overloading Macguffins that IMO are downright stupid like the knife thing (even if u accept a huge piece of debris is hanging around, anything like that is gonna shift/erode over time....)
But even with the Obi-wan dust-up, and even if Mando sucked or never existed, it just tells me Hollywood in general needs to get past its post-economic crash fear of taking risk and INVEST/re-invest in the craft of writers/directors. Instead of being safe AND pushing agendas. I view TROS and GOT as Hollywood getting a good slap about who they put in charge of things. But, ironically feel cautiously a bit optimistic. There's too many possibilities with SW to let it go (tho someone stop Lucas from his "Whills" etc. there's such a thing as over-explaining)
