I loved the question...

Mark do you ever sit at home and try to move things with the force?

Yeah he can switch the refrigerator light on by just opening the door :lol

He said he hasn't seen them since their theatrical run. Surely he at least saw the Special Editions.....

Jurassic World? I don't think many people are gonna give much of a crap about that. Is there really any novelty left in CGI dinosaurs?

No not at all..............!

What would happen if Disney wanted to remake Episodes 1 2 and 3?

What would the fans react to that? Would it be a bad thing? What if they just tried to fix some of the problems those movies had?
Would that just be a huge no-no? or would it be a good thing?

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I'd love it to happen but it won't - that'd be a blatant fart in the face to George Lucas.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

well people hate remakes in general, But at the same time the prequels get so much hate, It makes me wonder what would the reaction be if Disney wanted to pull this off.

As for being a slap to Lucas, I don't know if he would even mind at this point. He gave his empire away and maybe having some remakes would even stop people from hating him so much :lol

Couldn't disagree more. His cynical scowl is all he needs. Remember, this takes place 30 years post ROTJ.
I concur. Ford is perfect the way he is.

I'd guess most fans couldn't be happier if the prequels were re-made.

I think it's best to just leave those alone and move forward. Episode 7, 8, 9, and just keep going from there. Star Wars for life! :rock

well sure, But in this age of remakes and reboots, Would it really hurt to remake the beginning of this saga? I mean, the fans of the original 3 episodes would still have those movies, And the rest of the world could have 3 episodes to be as fans, proud of liking.

I mean, yeah they could make 7 8 and 9, But wouldn't it be better to also fix the beginning as well?

By "fix" do you mean re-write the story or re-enact?

Either way, I just don't see it happening.
