LOTR > Breaking Bad IMO
Yeah, same extras from the DVD sets are on the blu's.
Like we all didn't know that already.
Any guesses on when a new trailer will pop up? It's gotta be close. What's WB's next big release? More than likely attached to that.
Even from all those different editions and single copies? I was always wondering about that since alot of times they when they re-release a DVD or Blu they add something to it.

The old EE set didn't have a green tint and this one doesn't either.

So what's with all the images online and solutions how to fix it with the TV settings? Are some discs green and others not? Some scenes green and others not?
And I won't compare LotR to Breaking Bad. I own LotR already, I didn't own Breaking Bad. I picked up "Hugo" and "Super 8" while there too all for the price of LotR!
The only thing I don't like about the EE blu's is that they didn't upgrade the appendices to hd too. For the money they are charging for the set it would have been nice.
Yeah, I just watched the standard theatrical dvd last week and a recently bought EE Blu Ray copy yesterday. There was no visible "green tint" or whatever. It was the same film I've always seen, except it had some extra content and was in high definition.LOTR > Breaking Bad IMO

Actually, even then I am glad to have them. I can't really say anything negative about these Extended Edition Blu Rays. Well, if I just had to grasp at straws here, then I would say having each film split onto two discs is a bit tedious, but I don't mind it that much, to be honest. In fact, it gives one a break to go grab some refreshments and a snack, if need be.Yeah, I'd say thats the one negative thing about them. Those appendices are amazing work and a great look into what went on to make IMO the best Trilogy of all-time.

About to watch Two Towers EE, woot.
It woul have been cool if FOTR and TTT extended editions were as well done as ROTK.
The Lonely Mountain is a better title. The one they're using gives too much away (compared to the other two), and as has been pointed out, it reads funny.
I'm annoyed it's going to be a trilogy. Not deterred, but still, annoyed.
Cool. I have a feeling I'll end up with all the tie-in books too. I have all the LOTR ones.
