Seein' "What are you eating?" thread above the "R.I.P. George Michael" one.
Also the fact that thread starter misspelled George's name.

imagine if all the white people vanished.

Imagine the chaos. :lol

Ironic all the ones that want to leave the country due to "White Supremacy" all vowed to move to predominantly White countries...

Trying to find Med Gap insurance for my mother that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg. It's no wonder so many elderly are going into nursing homes when they don't really need to or killing themselves.

The problem with America, is that it's full of crybaby Americans.

The problem with America is that it is full of parents who are more interested in posting selfies than in helping their kids with homework.

The problem with America is that children are raised with no real sense of "action/consequence".

Fix those two things and the cry babies will dry up.

It's a problem caused by the past 2 generations. Most of our parents were strict hard nosed whip your ass on the spot in the middle of the store when acting up. Those kids grew up vowing not to do the same with their kids and that is where we are today.

Part of it is the acceptance of the abdication of responsibility.

Part of it is the failure or inability to self-diagnose.

Most of it is that their fundamental values are so grotesquely other-oriented that they could not conceive of the possibility that an actual 'self' could be responsible for anything.

Which brings me back to the people who keep pleading with a calendar to stop killing people.

The truth hurts.

2016 Is Not Killing People

I think it's just hard for so many people to lose childhood icons, especially when they pass so young. They're just saying it's been a hard year in that sense, and it has.

Though any death is hard, when someone has lived a long life, especially a good one, you don't feel as bad. But when someone dies who is young and should've had many years ahead of them, it's harder to take. This has happened quite a few times this past year.

The generations before us are dying younger than they used to. My grandparents generation fared much better than my parents'.

Thanks for that link, pix. It's tragic, but people would be crazy to blame time like it had some kind of mystical power. Same with cancer, diabetes, heart disease, car accidents or HIV. Actions have consequences.

I understand that they are expressing the feeling that the year was hard. It's when a person personify it. For example "2016!!! You have taken away all our beloved celebrities.m Stop. Please just stop!!!!"

I think it's stupid and I am embarrassed for the person each time I see it.
