I'm glad to hear that. My last fender bender cost $4000 (though it was more like a head on collision).

I count my blessings that I didn't get hit by a moose. In a 2003 Corolla, I would have been dead.

Thanks! The wreck I had a couple years ago did 8k in damage so I was worried until I got out of my car.

Did have to get a new tire because it had rubbed bad on the inside of the tire. Guy said it could blow out at anytime.

Yeah, it sucked. I was surprised the insurance company didn't want to total it.

Depends on your car and what kind of insurance you have. If you have good insurance, those body shops will get all they can, just like medical insurance.

It's possible. It happened in the city instead of near my small town so being near KC could have been the reason. Just glad it didn't come out of my pocket.
