There are a lot of people with whom I have history but have no great desire to talk to on a regular basis. This includes people I've met in my travels, used to go to school with, or distant family. I don't post anything myself, but I'm happy to check my feed every now and again and see what they're up to.

:lol Just kidding. I usually just call and talk for a few hours every other month to get caught up for my distant friends.

Those were the days :lol If you ever have kids you'll see that free time evaporate. In the last ten years one of my sisters and my best mate are the only two people with whom I've ever had a phone conversation that went beyond ten minutes.

Most of the games I play are casino or cards. They all want you to spend money, which I won't. I like My Vegas because you can actually get comps in Vegas.

I used to play Cityville when I first went on Facebook, but it got to be impossible to play it unless you spent money. Nope. It's bad enough I'm a paying member of Pogo. That's as far as I go.

I hate when I can't help my mother when she needs me most. She tripped on the steps and fell tonight and I couldn't get her up. I'm not strong enough to pick her up. I had to call my brother. She didn't hurt herself, but she's very upset and shaky. So am I! :(

I hate Kidney Stones. You hear horror stories about them, but don't really think about it as you are drinking crap soda, coffee with coffee mate, and tea with syrup. Last night at 4 AM I got to experience one and I literally thought I was dying; by far the worst pain I have ever even thought of experiencing.
Wife ended up taking me to the ER at 4 AM where they put me on morphine while it passed from my kidney into my bladder. It is still in my bladder so I know within the next 24-48 hours I will be in the restroom screaming. :(

You should double post this on the scary thread too.

...the only way I know my uncle was able to pass all of them was with apple cider vinegar. he has had 4 and he had to go to the ER twice (just like you for the morphine) the other 2, passed them without any pain, just by drinking a spoon of apple vinegar in a cup of water.
...just lemon juice, 7 lemons in a cup and drink it. but I dont like that one because that's too acid, the vinegar is not as strong as raw lemon juice in a cup
Thanks for the advice! My wife put an entire lemon in a glass of water and I drank that. I told her your advice for Apple Cider Vinegar and she is going to make me a cup of herbal tea and put the vinegar in it.

On a serious note, I didn't think pain that bad could exist. Just stretching my back to stand up caused so much pain I started dry-heaving. I am not looking forward to this thing moving out of my bladder!

Get the organic good vinegar, with the mother. It's more expensive, but worth it. It wouldn't hurt for you to drink that every single day. I know many people do. It's good for you all around.

I hate that it's back to work tomorrow after two weeks off. Need the money though. It spoils you, and tonight it's suppose to be the coldest night of the winter. Of course since I have to go out so early. UGH!

13°F Clear, already.

You better not cry,
You better not pout,
I'm telling you why:
Santa Claus is coming to town!" - Santa Claus Is Coming to Town Lyrics

a hobo who demands gluten free diet and only drinks soy milk.

...like you can get those off the streets. this is like asking "i only accept cash, no coins". :pow

NZ bums are effin obese.

and to think some people are shuffling school and part time work to keep food on the table.

Reminds me of the Syrian refugees who started throwing away perfectly good food because it wasn't up to their standards :lol.

I hear ya. I gave myself all of January to write a book chapter that absolutely must be done, but it's the 6th and I haven't been able to bring myself to start it. I've never failed to deliver on anything before, and this is pretty important, so failure isn't an option. But somehow I can only bring myself to do something when the flames are singeing my arse hairs. It's 1pm today, no point starting anything half the day is gone. I'll start in ernest tomorrow :lecture
