I used to complain about a brands figure choices, never about the figures themselves. That is very different from complaining that ThreeA figures shouldn't look like ThreeA figures.

Put whatever spin you want on it. You're unecessarily defending ThreeA. As you do with everything you like.

I don't like their look. I don't buy them. I have never discussed them until they decided to make Marvel.

My post simply said, IF THIS IS WHAT THEY WILL LOOK LIKE, IT WILL BE AN EASY PASS.

Whats wrong with that?

Nothing, just makes me wonder why you expect them to be different.

If Enterbay said they were doing DC comic figures and a teaser pic was released showing a realistic figure i wouldn't say "if this is what they will be like it's an easy pass" because i was somehow expecting them to be cartoony :dunno

It's all moot though since we don't have any info on what they'll be like other than the brands catalog of products. I'll expect them to be similiar

As I have previously stated, I am totally clueless and unfamiliar with ThreeA. So I have NO expectations.

Is that promo pic even real or is it fan made? The head looks very seperate from the body.

And again, you're being defensive for ThreeA. Are you saying I can't offer my opinion....on a forum?

Its not even a negative statement. Its simply my opinion and preference

It's a fake :lol

To get an idea of what they'll most likely look like have a google if you wish of their products ;)

I reckon they'll instantly be recognisable as their characters but be stylised as per ThreeA's style

Ok boys settle down this is Toy we are talking about.

I guess time will tell if Ashely Arts recreation of Marvel figures is similar to what they did with Metal Gear Solid comic then I am not interested as that was not my style at all. If however the have some nice renditions in these comic characters with updated looks based on the original costume coupled the beautiful weathering that they do then I think they will look fantastic and I am hoping they do figures that have no already been made such as Dare Devil and Fantastic Four as then we can judge then for what they are and not have to make comparisons as to how they far against a Hot Toy of Medicom figure of the same character.

Play arts is introducing its own recreations of DC chraacters Batman, Bat Girl, Wonder Woman , Flash and Green lantern it will be interesting to see what 3A offers in terms of Marvel

Ashley Wood has a terrific style in his paintings and his comics and I hope it gets translated to these Marvel figures like they have with his toy lines.

I'd love to have a ThreeA Iron Man next to the Hot Toys movie one :yess:.

That the one of the key things that's got me interested in these. Getting characters that have been ignored in 1/6 by other companies

:exactly:

Dr. Doom, Cyclops, The Fantastic Four, Venom, Ghost Rider, Juggernaut, Colossus :panic:

:exactly: :goodpost:

I do hope they look as "over stylised" (as some people call it) as any other 3A figure, that's what makes 3A different from other companies, they imprint a bad *** personality to their figures, something that HTs just can't do, Enterbay it does a little, but they still look odd.

Personally I'd like to see Gambit and Wolverine, 3A style.

1/6 comic inspired Ultron figure! yes please :clap bet there will be LED effect for eyes and mouth.

"Speaking of Marvel, we will be offering Ultron mid April, so expect some teasers soon, kinda lucky that it is ready just before the film, go figure. My design relies on the classic comic version, more Buscema than modern." - Ashley Wood

It's good you get what you want. Vey cool.

I am not a fan personally. But it's cool for those that are.

Yeah, all these nice Ultron merch is really overloading me. Also that's fair enough! :)

I can't say for certain until they fully reveal it, but I like it so far as a unique artistic rendition of Ultron. :yess:

I'd rather be spoiled for choice then the other way. Lol

I'm always for various options, and choice. I really hope every collector gets every version of every character they want. That's how I personally would like things.

That said, I also understand why that won't always happen and I don't fault any company for making things they want. It's their money and life savings and time. They are free to make anything they want.
