I wasn't really complaining, just hoping for different stuff. I know that they cannot satisfy everybody, unfortunately.

And I know this is for the Toy Fair and all, but does anyone know if SSC does anything at Wondercon. I live close and I might check it out next weekend if they have a booth or something. Or if anyone has gone before, is it worth going?

Personally I've always enjoyed the waiting and wondering. Of course I always say "I wish they would reveal all the question marks!" But I think if they actually did I would be a little disappointed. Although it does suck I'll be at internship all day for the rest of toy fair and won't be able to keep up with stuff until I get home at night. I shoulda taken this week off.

Oh well, I guess w/o having a physical presence at TF they are also scaling back announcements a bit as well. Although I wonder if the SW PPO for next Friday is included in the number of boxes?

it's all about control, they can control what the public see by doing web only whereas displaying @ toyfair, pics would always sneak out of stuff that's not supposed to be shown to the public

Sure thats part of it, but I think the press release said that they don't feel Toy Fair is aimed at collectibles as much, so not as much bang for their buck.

My guess would be it is since they have things released before Toyfair in the already revealed boxes. My gut (which is probably wrong) says that the pre-order will be for a 1:1 Grievous (which I don't even know if it is real) and the PPO something else. Maybe a sideshow clone trooper since that seems to be a popular idea being tossed around. But I'm usually way wrong with my predictions so grain of salt.

Technically, Toy Fair isn't really open to the public.

Well I am excited they finally announced Gandalf - I think he looks great and I love how the exclusive comes with Balin's book. The price though was a bit higher than expected. But ofcourse, I gotta complete the Fellowship, so I ordered.

Obi will have and Exclusive so there's 2 boxes. Indy will take the other!

Marvel will take 2 for the bust leaving 1 right?

then JP will take one or two in the Dios leaving one.
