I've moved on...lol. Would love for others to do the same. Lets talk economics.

I don't think I've thrown any ideas in this thread. Period. So no one can accuse me of having "far-fetched ideas. I just made a comment about Palin's debate last night, which this entire thread is about. My aspersions about some of the people are warranted. But how can you say that "NO ONE" meets these qualifications when just in the post above you said you don't follow every post? Do you pick and choose your posts or just suffer from selective reading syndrome?

Each thread does not exist in a vacuum. The opinions others form of you carry from one thread to another. It is not necessary for you to propose ideas in this thread for people to have gleaned some of your ideas from other threads (and when I say "you", I mean the generic "you", as in, everyone who has posted in this thread, myself included).

As for your attempt to cast aspersions on my character, you have failed. It is not necessary to read each and every post from any individual to know whether or not they subscribe to some far-fetched ideas. Such an idea is, in and of itself, far-fetched.

I agree that its the Womans choice at the end of the day. However, say the father does not want the child but the mother does. Should he be responsible for the child?

Or the father wants the child and is willing to take sole responsibility after the birth but the woman is insisting on the abortion.

My point is not really on whether its right or wrong just that The Father is a second class citizen when it comes to The Family.

I'll give it a few minutes to see if we can return to a civil discussion of politics in America... but I'm a pessimist, so I'll keep a very close eye on it. :D

repost:

a)
President Barack Obama
Vice President Joseph Biden

b)
President John McCain
Vice President Sarah Palin

c)
Undecided

What say you?

I choose a

So how do people think both candates did in the debate? From looking at it for me anyway it wasn't really a debate as Biden did not take on Palin but rather took on McCain.

You need an option D) Other/Independent. That would be me. :lecture

I'm actually C. LOL. I think we need change, but not in the direction of Obama.

You don't change a pair of shoes by cutting off your foot at the ankle.

If you believe that my comments have crossed the line, then I apologize. My intent was not to incite or offend. I will refrain from further comment. Or I can delete my comments, if you prefer.

I agree, and Palin didn't talk AT ALL about her plans as VP, just McCain "the maverick." Basically the whole night was about John McCain.

In any case, Joe couldn't take on Palin like he wanted because he would look like a bully.

You know whats funny and unintended, if you look at my avatar that kinda looks like Obama as Sark. LOL.

And that was silly but understandable. If she is going for second in command she should be able handle herself and the public shouldn't be feeling sorry for her just because she is a woman. She strikes me as a tough cookie anyway. Maggie Thatcher was well able for her male couterparts.

No, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular, just the overall tone of the last few pages... no need to delete your posts.

Thats not really a valid point because Biden doesn't have "plans as VP" that are seperate from Obama.... so why should Palin have them that differe from McCain. Maybe I misunderstand what you're saying.
