The new suit looks good in the trailer, better then the MKVII..i'm passing on all Iron Man Hot Toys until this new MKVIII comes out because i know the finish is going to look really nice on this armor, better then previous IM figures.

I'm Pakistani and I never refer to myself as Asian

I've never met ANY person of Indian descent who's referred to themselves as Asian. :lol

That would be the equivalent of a white person born and raised in South Africa referring to themselves as "African" when asked about their ethnicity.

I'm Cuban. You won't ever catch me calling myself "Latino". Doesn't mean I'm not.

Latino is a generalized term. Being Cuban, if you DID call yourself that you'd be correct. But calling someone who's Indian an "Asian" is not.

Again, ethnicity vs. geography. Two different things.

Anybody else notice the sound used in the trailer when Tony is under the water is the same exact sound TDKR's trailer's used when they panned up to the batsymbol at the end?

:lol

this is the same kind of stupid S___ that I hear people when they say "I'm an 'Merican" when referring to being born in the United States of America.
But anyone born on the Continent of America is in fact an american. anyone from Mexico from Brazil, Argentina... All americans...
people are so stupid

Ethnicity of Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Nepalise is South Asian. Not Asian.

well yeah technically you have North America Central America and South America. So someone from Brazil will technically be South American, you are right, but just like Brazil is part of America the Continent, Asia is the continent and all those countries are part of it.
I'm just saying, they are technically asian, they are not oriental that is true, but... I don't know, this thread got super lame now :dunno

you must not get out much. i live in south-east asia where there are loads of ethnic indians (i've got many indian friends), and they ALL consider themselves very much asian. and not just geographically.

just sayin.

now, back to our regularly scheduled programming. re: iron man. the trailer has single-handedly restored my faith in this sequel. hope shane black knocks it out of the park.

Yo fellow Malaysian. What you sat it very true. Chinese, Indians, Malays, we all refer to ourselves as Asian here cause South East Asia is still in the Asian continent, hence Asian is correct.
