Sometimes dreaming and planning the display is half of the fun. I have a notebook at work that sketch out potential displays for future figures that use when I’m supposed to be listening during staff meetings.
I do the same thing! Unless they say your name, might as well rework the display.

SS Grievous owners.

I have the first Sideshow version, but will be getting this one. I wonder if SS knew this was on HT's slate and decided to do their rerelease.

When house shopping I draw up the spare bedrooms in AutoCAD for this exact purpose :lol
We built a new house 8 years ago and it took nearly a year. While my collection was in storage I iterated on the basement floorplan over and over and over again. So many variations until I landed on one that felt perfect, right down to where the Toys R Us six foot Falcon and Life Size Han in Carb would hang. I've added Detolfs since then but the floorplan played out exactly as designed when I finished the basement. I loved Visio! :)

"Workout Room" just seems like more space for collectibles to me...

yup same.

I'm a residential architect and when we're designing other ppl's massive homes, I can't help to think about how/where I would put my collection if it were my home :monkey2

And now I’ll begin doing this as well. Thanks lol.

I even have places and plans for collectibles I don’t have or don’t exist (PF ROTS Kenobi).

Looks really good, hope they dial back the deco a bit. The dotty-speckle stuff is pretty over the top. The stand is annoyingly bad (guess we should be thankful it's not the footprint one). While the roll-around eyes are fun, I don't EVER remember seeing Grievous with whites in his eyes. Hope they rethink that.

I'm not shocked this one's happening, been kind of building up to it for a while. Wish HT would drop a magna guard too, not THAT would rock as a display!

I'll guess $429
Oh no, do not feed their greed!

I know your pain.
I have all my vintage figures and ships out, along with the POTF coins.
I've been buying inbetween Hot toys.
I usually rotate the displays but...
The Hot toys have been boxed up in the hope for future potential to display in my 2 storey home.
1 day...
Space, an ever lasting pain, together with great companies feeding our needs both combined create... A complexity...
Rotation sounds good in theory, but I am not one who likes to box and unbox these things frequently. I do like your take on it, warehousing until better times. One fear I have with that though is the potential we'll get much superior figures along the way, killing that special joy it brings. Part and parcel.

Feel free to send them to me… for storage purposes…

Yeah I wouldn't feel bad about this. Mine are boxed up also. I'm in the middle of a house build which will take a long time and I have designated places for the figures once its done, so all my figure purchases for now are for future enjoyment. Nothing wrong with it. Collect your way
Thanks. At least you have a concrete and tangible solution on the way, mine is still miles and miles away in lolo-land! One day...

If you were collecting with no intention of ever opening them, I'd question why I was even buying them or does it provide any joy whatsoever
Haha yes! This must be the pinnacle of madness, doing the same time over and over (buying figures) with no space to place them aside from a warehouse. Oh wait, we are on the Collector Freaks, aren't we..?

Please A: write me into your will and B: enjoy some very dangerous thrills... pleeeeeeeeeease....

Just kidding, I don't have the space to inherit your collection and I much prefer you alive and posting :)

But still put me in your will. For the giggles.
Haha, you will wish you never stated that! One man's treasure is another one's... Hell? :acme
