Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

It would be interesting to see if its actually possible to get a Batman in this.

You can but you have to remove the boots.

It's a bit of a tight fit, but it can be done without removing the boots. You will ruin the figure though. Even on the Jazz one that's a bit bigger, it will ruin the rubber. The HT figure was not made to hold any poses, let alone sit down.

Thankfully Jazz is releasing a seating down bats accessory.

Is this scheduled for this month then? It's out in HK, right?

Usually Sideshow is a few months behind HK unfortunately.

It did look like that in the original specs and prototype pics. Once you take the film off of it, it does look nicer with the matte finish, but it’s flimsier than a cake mold man. Super cheap. Like a blown up 1989 toy biz Batmobile cocoon if you had it.

I actually display mine with the cocoon, I love it. Hahaha it’s not that flimsy I think it’s sturdy, that thing has survived more than I can imagine with the Batmobile AND i never got a scratch from it.

Are your foam blocks still inside of it or have they fallen out?

Mine lost their adhesive a while ago.

Yes they are still inside, holding on still, the main problem’s I have had with my Batmobile have been wiring LED issues, but I’m surprised the cocoon is still great all things considered.

Anyone have issue with the machine gun being loose when pulling it up?

I remember ordering this rather quickly, not sure why it's taking so long to get. I just got my Batman and Batmobile pushed to next month.

Few youtubers have already got theirs...

Was close to buying this but space and funds are limited .

I remember back to 2013, the forum was on fire!

Really loved mine. Was the item that made me dive in the hobby and was a stunning impressive piece.

Jazzinc's more accurate version is in the game now.

I know, I sold my HT in 2023 to finance the Jazzinc.
But thought the HT reissue wouldn’t stay so much under radar…

We really are a small bubble on this forum. The thing is pretty much sold out everywhere.
