The basic game is the same, but it can feel very different depending on what you decide to do. Good/evil, your choice of race, gender, combat style, and so on. Many hours of entertainment, and a super-high MetaCritic rating always helps.

I think the Joker was a more prominent character in the first game, just more entertaining and funnier. That's the one thing I missed with the sequel.
