Absolutely, and you know the paint doesn't even really bother me. Either my paint isn't as bad as some or more likely, again those initial SS pics were VERY misleading. Perhaps you could add a bit more red to the hair, but overall I am VERY happy with him.

Cool! Yeah, this guy is a true collectible when collectors like you who usually don't collect the 12" SW figures appreciate it.

What I love about this figure, is there are some types of normal lighting (non-camera flash) that if you look at him in it, it very eerily looks like Ewan, Andy did a great job on the sculpt with this figure. A little note too, I've been working on photoshopping the figure into scenes from ROTS and one of them, I was lining up my figure image over the actual shot with a little transparency, and at one point, i had one of the eyes line up just right with the real picture and it was exactly the same, kudos to AB for a great sculpt. As a big Obi-Wan fan, and an eager anticipater of an Episode III 12 Inch Obi, I am extremely pleased with the payoff for our waiting.

My first SW dollie, wow, really not the action figures I grew up with. The likeness is uncanny on this one, and the costuming almost flawless - I wish they would have used a bit of a thicker material for the tunic. After a bit of futzing, including a "water treatment" for the cloak; this is what I came up with.

Yeah i just adjusted the lengths of his tunic or whatever you call it by folding it up under the belt. also fixed the pants a bit since it was all kinds of baggy.

I just got my new victim.....er.... Obi-Wan in the mail today... He's getting a repaint ASAP!!

Expect new, nicer pics tomorrow... Here's one with the Mace I got today as well...right out of the box!

Plus, dont you want to see if something is wrong or defective? You only get 30 days to return.

Ive wanted to keep my exclusives sealed in the box while displaying the regular editions, but Ive received both a defective Mace and Obi exclusives, and if i didnt open them i would have never known! both leather belts were put together so sloppy it was horrible. and obi's arms wouldnt stay posed, it was way too loose. From now on Im going to carefully open each one and inspect it before storing the exclusives away.

Why on Earth would someone not open the Sideshow figures? You need only peel a little tape off the plastic trays on the inside... no damage to the packaging whatsoever.

SSC went out of their way to accomodate the MOC collectors with OCD on these. Take advantage of it. The boxes are not what you paid $60+ for. Enjoy these figures!

Yes, one should always open their figures... its the Kurgan thing to do!
