Deadpool himself was half assed. All hype from the movie is long gone. I am curious to see a Channing Tatum Gambit figure though.

I think it would be a ridiculous notion for HT to do so, however... they could consider Artisan Edition. A bad idea, but be ready just in case...

Eh... wasn't really a fan of their costumes. I guess gambit looked alright.

I think if HT were smart what they would do is use the post-Deadpool hype to market more iconic and popular versions of these characters where possible. So for example I agree that I wasn't a fan of Blade's look in this film, but, if I was HT I would use the hype to market a Blade 1 or Blade 2 [2.0] figure.
Or say Laura and Wolverine from Logan.

I’ll take whatever they give tbh. Need her to go with Wolverine. Gambit depends on the sculpt and the coat being pleather. Rest I can skip to save money

Gambit is a maybe purely for his comic accurate costume.
Blade’s outfit was atrocious.
Gotta be Blade 1 or gtfo.

I don’t imagine these are very far into the process yet. I saw this more was a shot fired to third party companies that were planning on making these. HT did that with Vulture and we still don’t have a Vulture preorder from them but all those third party figures came and went already.

If they were further along they would have had used images from the figures themselves. Just because the movie came out 3 months ago doesn’t mean anything. They could have decided last week this is something they wanted to do. They likely had a line up for the next year or so and these likely were surprise additions to their plans.

I wonder how many of these will be canceled. It wouldn't be the first time they;ve teased then bailed. Two years from now Deadpool will be so 2024 and HT will have moved on to some other hot properties.

You're probably right, but I think they might fast-track at least one of these (my guess is Gambit and/or X-23) while people are still excited for them.

D&W Blade is probably the worst looking design to me. He needs his trench coat. Wish they were making Blade 1 version.
