I thought the Mandarin's symbols in IM3 were a direct copy of the 10 rings from the first movie?

They didn't refer to the character, per say, but the call signs for the F-22 fighter jets (might've been called raptors, not sure, could've been another movie) he encounters while "driving with the top down" was Whiplash 1 & 2.

Ah ur right, I didnt catch that :lol

its confusing, its never said that Killian had previous knowledge of The Mandarin(REAL) so Marvel changed it after because they though they made a mistake with making him the Mandarin and yet they seemed to have a lot of 10 ring stuff in the mansion and knowledge of who they were

Always thought it was the same organization as well. I thought at one point they made a subtle reference to it in a news report but that's probably in my head.

In the one shot, they reveal the two never had any connection and the real 10 Rings were pissed they used their "brand".

Yeah which is why I was wondering why they did that, I mean say if Killian beat Tony, was he just gonna carry on as the Mandarin?, did he know the Mandarin existed?, was he challenging him, mocking him?, proclaiming himself the new Mandarin?

I'm wondering how the articulation will be for this figure's legs. It doesn't have the flaps on the hips like iron patriot, but the "panties" seem to be designed to allow more clearance. So hopefully this means the "ground pound" pose can be achieved...
I still havent ordered this, but after adding iron patriot to my warmachine 2.0, it's pretty much a necessity to grab this too...
