I concur. I thought his intended strength was sold a bit short at times.
Loved the part when Thor was taking on a bunch of sentries and kicking ass during the battle in Sokovia. That was far too short-lived because Ultron removed him from the field of play ... wish we saw more of that.

Thor has seemed weak ever since the first Avengers. He was a powerhouse in the first Thor... I hope the Russo bros give him his strength back for Infinity Wars.

What I hope is WB doesn't pull this crap with Superman now.

That was cool!

The scene that stands out to me where he was sold a bit short in strength and power, was the scene where Ultron had him by the throat manhandling him and Thor had both of his hands clasped around Ultron's arm, just before Vision knocked Ultron upside the head with Mjolnir. Perhaps it's just me, but it seemed like Thor, given as strong as he's supposed to be, should have been able to simply crush Ultron's metal arm with his bare hands, similar to how he did with IM's suit in the first Avengers.

Didn't take away from the film at all for me by any means though. :)

Yeah, that was a bit disappointing but I guess it had to do with Ultimate Ultron's vibranium cocktail ... pretty sure Thor would rip Ultron Prime apart had they been matched up.

Still love the movie as well.

AoU was definitely a movie that buffs Cap up for his vs with IM in CW, setup for Scarlet Witch which leads to Civil War, and a make up for Hawkeye since to that point he had little development.

Thor is gonna get his in Ragnarok which should be going towards Infinity Wars and well, Fiege said so :lol

Hate to say it since Thor is one of my faves but AoU could've happened without him :slap

I'm glad Whedon is off Avengers... It seems he can only handle one or two characters well at a time. Cap was a joke in Avengers, a single goon was giving him trouble on the helicarrier, while Hulk was the best in the movie. In AoU, Cap went head to head with Ultron and held his own for a bit.

Yeah, Thor is my favourite Avenger. Iron Man is the most entertaining, but he has so many narcissistic faults he's a hard character to totally root for. And I'm not a big Cap fan. I can't believe how crazily OP they made him in AoU. Slinging motorcycles, holding his own against Ultron Prime.

But I do like Thor. Also helps I rather like Hemsworth, having watched him on TV in his younger years.

The sculpt to me does look more detailed than TDW, but less Hemsworth. It is looking a good reproduction of the early prototype pics we saw, unlike say John Matrix Commando which looks alright, but not what we first saw.

Ragnarok Thor will have a slight more gold tint in his hair sculpt so that collectors have a reason to get him again

Ragnarok Thor will have a slight more gold tint in his to boost sales

Yeah, IM is a fun character. He's witty, snarky, confident and wealthy. However, he has too many narcissistic faults as you mentioned that are motivated by arrogance, greed or his own paranoia, to really get behind and support him when it comes time to nut up, or shut up. They're in this predicament in the first place largely because of his own repeated mistakes and now he's attempting to play the "good guy".

I don't think Cap should have been utterly outmatched when it came to UP. UU, I think he would have been out of his league. I still think he would have ultimately lost to UP should the fight have continued, but I don't think UP would immediately manhandle him. Being able to sling his motorcycle I don't think was that overplayed, either. In TFA, he seemed like he was easily able to hold a motorcycle over his head without any sign of fatigue and with an additional 500lbs on it (I think there were about 5 of his back-up dancers seated on the motorcycle, presuming each of them weighed at least about 100lbs). Plus, the section where it displayed a list of his pre and post serum stats at his exhibit in TWS, stated on the list that he is supposed to be able to bench press 2000lbs post serum.

Thor is a really fun character as well, while being humorous. He's improving on his intellect and intuition, as he used to take everything at face value. A simpleton, so to speak, as he possesses the consummate "barbarian" mentality. Slightly arrogant, considering himself "mighty" and a bit of a brute. As Loki referred to him as, "That witless oaf." The power he wields makes him a really fun character also.

Do you guys think the batteries in the LED hammer will be able to be removed? I do not want leaky batteries...

Also the new head has great detail but seems to work best in museum poses while TDW one is better for action/fighting poses.
