Like I commented earlier, the rubber issue IS overblown but it doesn't change the fact that they should stop using it so that you can actually bend the arms on these figures. I would take a semi-ugly joint and plastic arm over these rubber ones any day.

Totally understandable. It's mostly a preference thing. I wouldn't mind if it was plastic, but I like the rubber look, and for me the look of the figure, that realism factor is why I go with hot toys over everyone else. It does limit poses and you do need to take care of it better, so I can understand that aspect of it. I'm hoping for swappable arms on the next figure.

My sentiments as well, Motux. I personally prefer the rubber arms as well, being that they have more verisimilitude to me. As you mentioned, the trade-off though is that you have to be more cognizant of the way you pose him and how much you bend the elbows. This doesn't bother me though, as I tend to have more of a preference for museum/expo type poses to subtle action poses. However, I know many like the dynamic poses, so swappable arms would be a win-win for everyone.

Got my DW Thor body last night and did the swap and let it dry overnight. Easy enough swap and I'm very pleased with the results. Big thanks to the guy/gals on here who helped me with finding a DW body and the advice on glue. First time doing something like this so apreceate the help

I'm pretty sure you already took care of this in the HFC, but just in case you didn't, the October code is SP00KY15.

Yeah I got it! I ordered Thor yesterday with it!

The code appeared one day after my little expression of doubt.

Does anyone know if the expected to ship date listed for Thor on the Sideshow site of "Dec 2015 - Feb 2016" is up to date or accurate? I am trying to decide if I am going to order Thor with SP00KY15 code this month or Princess Leia this month and then get the Thor with the November code. The Sideshow site says the expected to ship date listed for Leia is "Nov 2015 - Jan 2016". If this information is up to date I'll order Leia now and Thor in November, but if either of these have been pushed up or back I'd like to know before I ordered.
