Sticking with Dark World Thor but bought this figure's stand and maybe the foot pegs to make mine taller and his boots because they are a tad different and I like them better.

Doing the same thing except keeping the boots and buying the light up hammer instead

I wouldn't worry. Most of his reasons aren't all that valid anyway - they're personal quibbles that really only pertain to him.

He's also worried that the arms will decompose within six months to a year. I don't own the Light Armor version so I can't say one way or the other, but I'm pretty sure he's full of ****.

Danoby has had a history of complaining about Hot Toys releasing figures that are tweaks or repaints of previous versions ... Pretty sure I saw somewhere that he was pissed about Mark 24 Tank being announced but of course he still ordered it haha

My LA Thor had no issues what so ever. But then again I kept it in a museum pose

There's no real issues with the la body. I've got a handful and half have been in action (or at least not standard at attention) poses. Thor smashing hammer. Used a body for a custom wolverine and I have it on the berserker rage slashing pose. Both have arms bent and been that way for well over a year. My predator Dutch body is in an action pose and has been for years. No issues.

There's always going to be a 5-10% failure rate on figures. Doesn't matter if it's rubber or diecast or cheesecloth. But what happens often is one or two people post photos or stories and then it gets shared and suddenly rubber figures fail more the Detroit Lions. When the rate is the same as plastic.

If it was anywhere near as bad as some think hot toys would have stopped using it or gone out of business. Sideshow would never carry their products. So many figures over the years have used rubber or vinyl type bodies.

Not gonna lie, he kinda looks like Triple H :lol

I think the hair is similar to A1 rather than TDW.

I agree with at least one of Danoby's points. They need to stop using rubber. I'd love to have some of my figures do more than stand there. It'd be cool to bend your figure's arms without worrying about ruining a 200 dollar piece.

Rubber arms look plain stupid when they're bent. They need to make a way to have interchangeable arms. I think World Box did it with one of their bodies. If that company can do it, HT sure can.

I would like interchangeable arms as well.

And I'm sure hot toys could do it(mk5,6, pepper ect, have them). It's just about the cost.
