I'm collecting the teams in full (Avengers, GOTG, AOU) so I was planning on getting this either way.

Its nice to see how different he'll look from Avengers Thor.

No, we're talking in general. Everything looks almost the same, body, outfit, etc. The only difference is it has a different headsculpt
and the lightning effect. That's why for those who already own the TDW LA Thor, we're only interested in picking those two up.
Doesnt warrant picking up another new Thor when the look is the same.

Except... then you can only display one or the other.

I like to have a each iteration/evolution of the characters on display.

Looks great and I need it so release it already. Don't have a Thor in my collection, so a no brainer for me.

I was hoping for better arms... They're the same old ones. The likeness doesn't look as close as TDW Thor either.

At least I can take Thor off my want list, I'll just stick with my LA version.

I think its a better sculpt and I like that they finally got the hair color right and kept his mouth closed. The lightning effects are cool too.

Overall its looking very good to me.

I am going to wait for some more pictures and an idea of a time frame, but as I don't yet have a Thor, this could be a nice one to start with.
I wonder if Mjolnir actually lights up or if there is the standard metal hammer and a lightning effect one, or if it's just something sculpted that adds on to the existing hammer...

I agree. BW is a dead stare for sure and SW is a bit but this looks determined to me too
