My original idea was that I only need ONE Iron Man when I bought my Mark VI BD. I didn't buy Mark VII when it first available for PO but the DVD and the desire to get a definitive round RT made me cave in. Then I love the Silver Centurion with the really cool sword and the fact that it came from the comics. The added fact that it has a Tony HS just sweetens the deal. The truth is, you start with one or maybe two...but then the madness begins...

I came close to getting the Silver Centurion because of those metal blades. I know the design was in the comics, but it was a bit before my time (I started in the 90s), so it doesn't mean as much to me. Fortunately, none of the movie armors quite match the design I grew up with (and it looks horribly dated):

IM figures do look pretty fantastic, and I usually get excited about several of them (Mark 7, 42, 43, 3, 45, Midas, Python, etc). But come release time, the hype dies down, and reality (i.e., the price tag) starts to sink in. Although I did own a Midas for a short while, and I actually let it go (there were some things about it that bothered me). Looking back, I'm not so sure I should've done that, but I've got a stealth 7 on the way, so it sorta worked out in the end.

1 day closer to having the 45... geez how do you guys do it?

*insert sponge Bob drinking coffee gif*

Woke up to the realization that in exactly 1 year from today, I STILL won't have this in hand hah.
I can't speak for others, but being tremendously late to the game, I pacify myself by backfilling on figures I missed all these years, and then rearrange my lobby to accommodate them...and then realize how nuts I am. :slap:slap

I have a feeling that the Mark 3 diecast is going to end up in my hands before the year ends to fulfill my "classic armor" void seeing as how we don't even know if they'll ever dc the 4, 6, or 7.
