I have a feeling that the Mark 3 diecast is going to end up in my hands before the year ends to fulfill my "classic armor" void seeing as how we don't even know if they'll ever dc the 4, 6, or 7.

something in me says a 4 is unlikely but 6? that's possible.
And if HT did spend a ton of cash on diecast molding tools and equipment I think it's possible just to get their money's worth out of the equipment.
(I can hope!)

The Mark III DC should be a fantastic piece to own and would fulfill your desire for a "classic armor" suit.

Actually I think 5 is the unlikely one, and 4 and 6 will be made. If they are making a 6 I also want a DC War Machine MK1 :rock

This is a little off topic, but @Brainiac, where did you get that sig in such high quality?

If they did a 6 or 4 then they would do the other. Mostly the same tooling (these break down into like a 100-150 parts and 80% are shared between the 4 and 6. Doing both would mean they could almost do one for free for tooling costs. That would be to good to pass up. The outlier would be mk5. It has very limited shared parts for tooling. But that does not mean they won't do it.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS300D11 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 45

I saw Age of Ultron again over the weekend and I have to say the red on this armor in the movie leans more towards the magenta spectrum. Close to the shade on Vision's face, actually.

I figured out why there's no Tony face sculpt. Tony was never even in the suit. It was flying around killing robots while he was chilling in new york eating some shawarma.

Haha ... I've thought the same thing. The only real indication we get that Tony suited up was that he was present in the Quinjet as the team headed to Sokovia.

Mark XLV looks great. Went from not liking it all that much to "will probably buy it when it comes out." Proportions look pretty good too in the secret base pics.

So far every diecast figure (except Whiplash) has been rereleased in some form

The Secret Base pics are taken by random people :dunno

Yeah they have but that's a pretty small sample size so I'm not sure how much that means.
