The faceplate design for this is one of the best of all the armors imo, I really like it, I also like the Iron Legion faceplate/helmet design

I been wanting them to make changes to the faceplate for a while. They would change the entire suit but never touch the faceplate in the past.

I like how there's more gold to break up the suit, but honestly I don't know how well those mini-RTs across its body will come across on screen not to mention how well Hot Toys will execute that. Will have to wait to make a better judgment, for now I think the vents on the Mk45 look great and look to be well replicated on the Hot Toys figure.

If the Black Widow figure is any indication, it may be painted lights (which I'm okay with). The 45 looks great (the suit and figure), and the 46 has the potential to look even better. Both have an organic look to them- the 45 seems to veer more heavily towards the smooth, musculature look (love those vents); but the 46 has more angled, mechanical elements (like the classic armors). I'm basing a lot of that from the legs, but it should be interesting to see how it turns out.

No doubt I'm in the minority, but all the mini reactors just break-up the flow of the suit, IMO. Works nicely on a huge, clunky armour like Hulk Buster but I've never liked the design on the sleeker suits.

Good point! I'm anxious to see how it looks on the screen and how Hot Toys handles it

Well that's interesting, I find the Red to be just right, the 42(with all the Gold) kinda made me sick at first after a while I started to like it. With this one I always liked it and I don't think it needs any changes

Thats just my opinion though

I looooove all the red ... if you want more gold, that Civil War armor looks like it might have more.

Yeah like, I think it's just missing gold from the arms is all. I wasn't gonna get this but I didn't want excessive gold like the 42. Yeah there's way more red on this but I think the Marks III, IV, VI, and VII all had the right amounts of red, gold, and even silver on them. But according to the CW concept art, it looks pretty fantastic.

It's early. There will be a dozen tweaks or changes before the film drops. Look at all the "art of" books. If some of those leaked early it would be the same deal. They do around a dozen options for a suit, and usually the final one is not exactly like any of them. Lol looking at the leaked pics as a cool suit but I'm not basing any collecting or anything on that being the suit in CW.

There have been slight alterations (I'm thinking the gold parts on the hand guards for the 45) before, but the promo art in the past has pretty much represented what was seen in the film. I can't see that face plate changing too much for example.

Yep, very early as in we aren't even at the appetizer portion of the meal yet. Still, this is all we've got to discuss so you know the next one thousand posts will be nitpicking the design until the next teaser is released lol. Not much else to do.

I'm interested to see if they really keep all those repulsors and what their intended purpose is
