i don't remember waiting this long with anticipation before. i mean, there has been plenty of other stuff that i've waited for.. but i think wait is going to have the best pay off and i'm excited. i preordered this on may 22nd of 2015. hopefully it'll only be a couple months now before it arrives stateside.. though, the longer it takes to get released overseas, the further away it'll be.

Yeah looking at pics and unboxing on YouTube gets me more excited to finally having it on hand

i think it's time for hot toys (and some other toy companies) to start releasing chemically induced coma kits.. just to cut down on this wait lol.

They're called Cosbabies. :lol

Lol, no thanks! If mafex had released their 45 earlier I think that would've helped the wait.. But that won't be out for a while. So, I'm stuck without a 45 until this one is released. I could've picked up the figuarts version, but I prefer the look of the mafex one.

I'm going to see civil war tomorrow.. I wonder if it'll make me start wanting the 46 more than the 45.. I really doubt it but we'll see.. I'm getting both so it doesn't really matter in the long run.

I think I like the Kaiyodo Movie Revo version better than mafex and figuarts.

i used to really like revoltech.. back when they came out with their transformers figures.. but now that i have a smattering from each company, i like figuarts figures best, then mafex, then revoltech. i'm just not a fan of their joint system anymore, and there's just something about them in hand that i dislike. and the figuarts version of the 45 just doesn't do it for me. i think the mafex sculpt looks a little more defined than the figuarts version.

the effect accessories that the revoltech version comes with really do look fantastic, much better than the mafex or figuarts for that matter. but i really like the paint job on the mafex version, the landing pose looks fantastic, and i really like the tony sculpt that it comes with. and when looking at shots of all three, the mafex version looks closest to the way it appeared on screen, and i think it looks a lot like the hot toys version as well.

but to each their own. i'm glad we have so many options. i'm amazed that hasbro never made a legends version... oh wait, i'm not amazed, that's just what they do.

Yeah, I was mostly going for looks because I'm probably not getting any of them anyways, and the revoltech effects look really cool.

I don't actually have any revoltech figures, but I do have a figuarts goku that I'm going to open probably today. I'm glad you like figuarts joints better, as I'm likely gonna end up getting a lot more of those figures.

The mafex one does actually look really good. I just prefer the revo proportions, but I'm uneducated about joints and stuff like that.

I believe Superman is releasing tonight so Mark 45 will be last.

I had posted back on April 9th in the Ultron Prime thread what my source stated the sequence the HT coming releases were to be. My inside source is usually spot on, and was in this case as well. They stated Nick Fury, then Flame Trooper, then Ultron Prime, followed by BvS Superman, and the Mark45.
Look for the Mark 45 at the last week of May to the 1st week in June.

So what's releasing between now and the end of June? Or does your source only have access to info of those figures featured on the Upcoming Releases photos?

The joints are little round ratchet joints with two pegs. I'm just not a fan of the system, and the way the figures feel in hand. It looks like their iron man figures turned out way better than their turtles figures. So like I said, to each their own. You can't really go wrong with either.

I really wish tony had used the 45 in civil war.. But the 46 is quite awesome, so it's not a big deal.
