You have an in-hand sample?

I get samples of some figures. I did not get one for the 1/6 45. His isn't a production sample I don't think, I think it's an actual regular release figure. If you work at one of the official stores or at some shows they give you the first shot at figures that come in, some times. Usually not supposed to, and if they get caught they will get fired. But it happens. No different then if you know the stock clerk at Walmart and they "hold" some toy or whatnot for you. Not supposed to happen but it does.

And it was only a matter of time before some of this stuff started leaking. Hot toys has grown a lot and has had to employee more and more people so that ups the chances this stuff happens.

I know where he got them. They are from the pop up store. He either works for the sun contractor or stole them. He has more then the 45

This has been posted already.

No it's not released. It's a display figure from one of the shows. The poster is either an employee who took pics as they prep the figures for transport or he stole them. I reached out to find out for sure

Looks like he has Deadpool in-hand too. I'd hope he didn't steal them then post them on IG. Doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. I'm not mad though :lol. Figure looks great.

goodness this thing looks perfect. i absolutely LOVE the paint job.. i love how they handled the weathering. i was worried that they had lessened the amount much more than this.. but i think it has the perfect amount. and that gold is stunning. wow i cannot wait.

the only thing that could've made this better is if he had used some sort of pop out forearm gun or missiles in the movie. but even without that, this thing looks to be my favorite iteration yet. i think it's going to be difficult for the 46 to top this for me. i'll have to wait to have them both in hand to decide which i like better.

A lot of people on Instagram are already wondering if its out or not :lol

Not surprising. If you don't have access to someone that knows where they came from it would be a easy explanation or idea to think it's out.

The figure not been removed or stolen like I thought may have been the case. The man was part of the setup and tear down team for one of the shows. He took photos and posted them, which he's not supposed to do. Lol but it happens.

as i've said probably about 3 million times now.. i'm super excited for this.. but how much do the gauntlets bother you guys? i was just watching the movie again, and i can't really find any parts in the actual movie where his gauntlets are gold at all.

personally they're not a huge deal, but i really do wish they were more accurate. in some scenes the ends of them look gold, but that looks more like lighting rather than his suit actually being gold. it's a little surprising that the final CG for this armor was rendered so long ago, and molding new gauntlets seems like a fairly easy fix compared to other stuff that could've been wrong.

but like i said, it's not a big deal.. that gorgeous paint job more than makes up for it.

This has been addressed. Screen shots of where it was gold have been posted if you look through the thread. They are gold in this shot. They are gold in the production art. Not gold in every shot. But hot toys got reference that had it gold. It matches some of the shots. Can't ask for more then that

There are probably more, but I was skipping through scenes.

It seems to me that when the suit is the darker red (like in the start of the church scene) the gauntlets are pure red. On the suit with the lighter shade of red (like in the figure), some of the scenes have the gold trim. I guess the scenes were made by different production teams.

Yeah, there where two companies working on the 45. And the design obviously changed at some point. It happens. But you can't expect them to match every angle and scene.

I know it's probably part of the appeal, but this Iron Man also strikes me as having the smallest head when compared to its body. Maybe that's why we never see Tony open his mask. It'll look strange I think.

No, the production sample of the BvS knightmare batman. Not the 45

So when you said "images" you meant only one photo then? It's hard to tell because you keep putting the watermark of so many other photographers and web sites on your images - it can get confusing.

Wonder if it releases this week, since the movie is out and comes out in the states in a couple of days.

i know.. i've grabbed those same images.. are there two different versions of the movie?.. the one i have downloaded on iTunes the first day it was available show those parts of gold.. but the version i DVR'd on starz didn't seem to have them in those scenes. i'll have to go back and watch it again, but i'm pretty sure those weren't there.

love the knee articulation

it's awesome how the armor kinda folds open to allow a larger range of movement
