The more I see this I'm getting tempted. I was going to just wait for the Mark XLVI but I might just get both.
Definitely. I'm looking forward the most to Nightclub and Blue Steel, but as far as mix-and-match suits are concerned I'm eager to see Tiger, Jack, Piston, and Romeo.
I'd fanboy so hard if the Mark 50 were a weaponized, red-and-gold version of Starboost.
The head on the Mk 45 was small on screen anyway, but I think it adds to the character of the suit. It's probably why they never showed an unmasked Tony in this armor.
@Motuxmen would you happen to have photos of the ground pose from other angles? Just to see how it is achieved with this figure.
The 45 is easier. It's much easier then most actually. And the heads not that small.
It's both the hips and the waist. Just the overall design really. This figure has the most articulation of all the standard Mk figures, at least from my view.
Edit-here's the other angles
The upper torso and lower torso are both independently articulated and the connecting mid section has that adjustable part to allow better movement. Then the legs have top notch articulation as well. Throw in the pop out shoulders and having the shoulder pads independent and attract he'd to the upper arm with a bit more of a gap (which is something many have said looks bad, but it's the best way to increase that articulation) and you have a very easy to pose figure

Oh. Well that's not good.
But the screenshot right below that one isn't nearly as bad.
Yeah you can adjust it so they don't look like that. But when it's arms straight down with a straight on shot with the shoulders at about eye level you can see the gap. It doesn't take a lot to futz it so they cover. But if that gap wasn't built in, and you can tell when you have it in hand, then the shoulder wouldn't even lift up much. Due to th design of the pads (in the film). So they moved it out a bit. Just takes an extra ten seconds to get it posed so they gap is covered
