I felt like I needed to take anger management classes after putting in the batteries. Especially since the instructions tell you to put the batteries in the arms backwards.

I finally got them in and flipped on the switch and nothing. I literally screamed.

Did the same lol instruction were wrong. I was doing mine at 1 am so I fought it out for an hour. Everything worked though.

Only one of the arms gave me a problem.. The coil was slanted making it difficult to get the batteries in. Otherwise it wasn't too difficult. My body light switch is a little wonky though.. It's not bad enough for me to want an exchange or anything.

It definitely has me clambering for an ultimate version. In person the face just doesn't look quite right to me. It might be the sculpt, or the lines, or the mold.. Or a combination of all of them.

Anyways.. I have one and only one complaint about the 45 so far.. I wish the neck had a larger range of motion.. Like the war machine/patriot molds neck. But that's a very minor complaint. The head itself has a nice range of motion.

I've been out of town for the last week and just went through the last several pages to catch up. There are some fantastic pictures in here! :clap :clap :clap

Also, I agree...putting the batteries into any IM figure is a huge pain in the neck. :gah:

Thanks for the rep! :hi5:

And the Mark VII was the biggest pain in the butt for me in terms of batteries. Getting the forearm covers off the 45 though :gah: I almost gave up because I was sure I was going to break it.

Man these pictures are making me want to order a mark 45, but I have a whiplash mark 2 coming in the mail currently so i need to hold off on spending money for a little bit.

You're welcome! :hi5:

I usually just put the helmet and chest batteries into my IM figures, because historically I've always had the most trouble with the repulsor batteries. :gah:

45's definitely one of the best I've seen so far. Not sure how much better 46 will be aside from the numerous LED lights

It's a bit on the high side...but it's by far the best designed and executed figure of iron man ever produced. Seriously. It's pretty epic. Previously I thin the mk7 was the best done figure...well designed it was and so much extra add on stuff. But the 45, man it's something special. That said, I believe the 46 will have as good of engineering. It won't have the same colors though. And the colors on the 45 really stand out

Yeah, even though the 46 will likely have the same engineering, I really don't think it'll have the same level of awe that the shining colors and intricate paintwork give to the 45. I'm sure with all the leds on the 46, it will be astonishing, but the 45 is astonishing that all of the time, not just the small fraction of time the lights are on (although the lights look fantastic too).

However, if a soap reactor will work with the 46, or if they make one that will, it should really be quite a display piece.

This figures feels worth every penny it costs. It's beautiful. I can't stop looking at it and touching it.
