Very late to the party... but very, very happy to be here.

Shockingly amazing figure in hand. Heavy. Incredible engineering. And that astounding metallic paintjob.

I spent the last nearly two hours trying to capture the deep, glistening paintjob... but I just can't. But, it looks like just about everyone is getting this figure so y'all will know soon enough...

I had my nephew from out of state visit me yesterday. He just turned 11 and is a big action figure fan but he was completely unaware of the existence of Hot Toys. His face when he saw my collection was priceless, probably very similar to how I would have reacted to HT figs at his age. I let him play with a few, this one was the one he liked the most, he was just amazed by all the little details. His reaction when I told him how much they cost was pretty hilarious as well, he said the price of just one figure was more money than he'd ever seen in his life. I can almost guarantee he'll start collecting when he's older.

And just like that, he was brought over to the dark side..... :lol

The reaction of kids is the best. My 4 year old's face looked like Christmas morning seeing presents in the chimney from Santa. Priceless. Then they want to play with them..... which leaves me holding my breath :lol

Adults that react like kids are the best for me.. I needed some plumbing work done at my house a couple months ago and when this older guy saw my detolf, he absolutely freaked out in excitement and knew what Hot Toys were and everything. My wife was so surprised/caught off guard and actually showed him my entire *small collection. For the first time, I felt like my wife kinda understood how big of a deal these collectibles actually are..

Nice pics Wor-Gar. Inspired me to throw some on here too lol.

Little inspiration from the Iron Studios Mk43 Statue and from the scene where IM and WM just "crossed the streams" against Whiplash.

Tried to replicate one of the shots of the 1/4 with the 1/6

image.jpegimage.jpg

I think the final design is actually quite close to the 1/4. I was thinking the 1/4 had better proportions after seeing the photos but it looks like they're actually fairly similar.

I'm sure someone else could get it closer but I'm really happy now that i chose 1/6. It's shinier, metal, in scale with my others and is just as accurate now.

Nice, but you gotta adjust the bent knee a little.

I'm a little disappointed that this figure can't hold the sentry head like we saw in the promo shots (unless I'm missing something). I thought there'd maybe be a small magnet in the hand and head or something. I kind of wish the sentry was a little more interactive.

A quick question. Mine came with this paint defect. Donyou guys think this is enough for a replacement or should i just keep it?
