The defect is on the gold part. Sorry about the photo being sideways, i dont know why it did that.
Ya for the price you paid I would probably request an exchange but from the picture it blends in with the other battle damage
Agreed. It actually blends really well.
Yeah, that's what I was initially thinking. I wouldn't be to bent out of shape if sideshow declines my exchange request.
They should exchange it, they are really good about that sort of thing.
If they send just a replacement body you will have to destroy it and send them pictures or they will charge you for the replacement part. I have never had to send anything back but have destroyed 3 or 4 things.
Huh. That's pretty crazy. I understand the reasoning but it feels odd that destroying it is part of an official policy. Although I'm sure they're not the only ones who have that.
It's to limit people scamming parts and reselling them. They used to not require the destruction. But then people would request parts and then sell them online. Things like that. They tried doing the you send in the broken part then we send it back. But it just cost them time (which is money) to catalog and inventory and open it all, and customers complained about shipping ect
Yeah I understand the reasoning behind it. I just think It's just funny knowing that it's part of their policy to destroy it.
I received a replacement for the default chestplate and didn't have to destroy or ship the defective one back. Maybe depends on the size of the part?
