Made a gif of the suit from a 1080p source. Can't wait to see this suit in action. Already bored of the Mark 42 design. :lol

Who am I kidding.

Agreed with some of the members above. I hope 45 will be plastic.
Regarding the diecast line in general I feel that, at this time, its honestly, at most, a gimmick to charge higher for figures and characters "associated with metal". We've seen now that plastic IM articulation isn't remarkably inferior to the articulation of diecast suits and that the same articulation technology implemented into the diecast figures CAN be implemented into plastic. Great figures like Silver Centurion, Starboost, and even Heartbreaker show us this. But don't get me wrong, I love my warmachine mk2 but it's not like I love it more than plastic armors, just cause its a part of the Diecast Line.

Use the metal to make the figures significantly better and clearly justify the price difference is what I say.

...either that or give us 100% diecast ;)
The line's called "Diecast" not "Almost more/less than half diecast and mostly plastic" right?:nana:

Joking about 100% diecast btw...
A 100% diecast 12 inch figure would probably be a lot more than what they're charging now

Ill take either or at this point, plastic would be nice, so long as the cost is lower

one thing it will show is how Hot toys feel towards the diecast, if its plastic they obviously feel Diecast wasnt necessary

Good point pal

I'm kind of hoping that they Make the 45 plastic and then gage the profit between the MK 43 and 45 to pick which medium they will primarily use in the future. I hope plastic wins and prices drop. I'd love to get more iron man figures but the prices make it hard to justify

It'll only be Diecast if the can reuse the mold later on. So that's up to marvel and civil war :lol

Amen. I hope that's how things will play out

Diecast was used becuase it was fan demanded. Enough people asked loud enough they gave it a try. But it's a much harder process to produce detail with. Trust me, they would much rather use all plastic. But now that they invested huge amounts of money in it, it will be used to justify the outlay in machine and took and die.

There will never be a 100% metal figure. Nothing with moving parts that is painted will be 100% metal. Paint wears off. The metal fatigues. Metal on metal requires lubricant.

So when you say they showed they can use the same joints on DC as plastic...of course they can. The joints are not metal. That was never the reason for DC. If you thought it was sorry.

As for it "looking" like metal. That's a mute point as well. Once it's painted the substrate matters little. If you paint it right, a metal and plastic surface look identical when painted with the same paint and methods. Unless you are just clear coating raw metal you won't be able to tell from the look.

So, do we think this'll get made after they've started physically selling the mark 43? I'm thinking they must know people may cancel their mark 43 orders in favour of the mark 45..., I want both but a lot of people seem to want just the latest version of Iron Man (rather than several examples).

this on likely wont go up for PO until later in the year, theyll wait for 43 to sell a bit, plus Hulkbuster needs a big window, people are gunna need to be patient

They could also make this an exclusive or promo which would suck, but I could also see them holding off on this for a bit. I can be patient with it. Just means I may have some RP to use on it. I'll buy this guy regardless so I'm ok with what ever they do

what? :lol

when has that ever happened...?

I'm paying for my Hulkbuster monthly..., think I'd pass if I had to pay all in one go, don't mind for the normal size figures but the more expensives ones are certainly nicer to buy when you can do it in bits. :) This movie has SO many figures coming out, there's no way I could afford them all..., I just stick to Iron Man, not that it's the cheaper option but at least as far as AOU is concerned, it is. :)

Yeah see I don't know if you are being serious or not...........but to answer your comment:

When have the done a movie promo that is an iron man figure? The Mark VI from the Avengers....... Or do you mean when have they made a highly anticipated figure a movie promo? Golden Age Cap. I'm failing to see why it is so unbelievable they'd do that. Bear in mind, I said it could be a possibility not that "it is my best guess and will definitely happen". In reality none of us know what they are going to do so I'm just speculating like everyone else.
