Yeah see I don't know if you are being serious or not...........but to answer your comment:

When have the done a movie promo that is an iron man figure? The Mark VI from the Avengers....... Or do you mean when have they made a highly anticipated figure a movie promo? Golden Age Cap. I'm failing to see why it is so unbelievable they'd do that. Bear in mind, I said it could be a possibility not that "it is my best guess and will definitely happen". In reality none of us know what they are going to do so I'm just speculating like everyone else.

I mean when have they made an starring Iron man suit (or hero suit) an exclusive? Cap is the closest example, but that suit was basically a slight update and the less popular suit of the movie, mk 6 promo was a reissue from the IM 2 mk 6, not a brand new main armor. mk 43 is basically the mk 6 of A1, this mk 45 with be the new mk 7

and yeah we dont know, but I guarantee it wont be an exclusive (though it may have an ex accessories)

Yeah I should clarify when I said exclusive I meant that it came with an exclusive item or two. And I agree with you, I am 99% sure they wouldn't make it a promo. It was a mere statement of what they could do.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl I missed you Henry :lol

I missed you too!

I'm kind of hoping that they Make the 45 plastic and then gage the profit between the MK 43 and 45 to pick which medium they will primarily use in the future. I hope plastic wins and prices drop. I'd love to get more iron man figures but the prices make it hard to justify
Yeah thats exactly why I passed on the 42(didnt like the color scheme), Iron Patriot and War Machine 2.0... but I kinda regret that now seen as I purchased the 43 Diecast. I realized I would pay that much for a figure. So now I want to go back and get some of thos main IM3 armors :slap
Agreed! I was surprised the 43 got nothing considering they already have the molds for it. Seems lazy on Hot Toys part.
and greedy! a straight repaint with no R&D and only a new base and small bust part :ohbfrank: should have been much cheaper
So, do we think this'll get made after they've started physically selling the mark 43? I'm thinking they must know people may cancel their mark 43 orders in favour of the mark 45..., I want both but a lot of people seem to want just the latest version of Iron Man (rather than several examples).
thats a risk for them sure.... maybe thats why they included an exclusive, although if thats why they did it perhaps they could have included a better exclusive, imo its not something anyone would have trouble letting go in favor of the much better MK45
I'm paying for my Hulkbuster monthly..., think I'd pass if I had to pay all in one go, don't mind for the normal size figures but the more expensives ones are certainly nicer to buy when you can do it in bits. :) This movie has SO many figures coming out, there's no way I could afford them all..., I just stick to Iron Man, not that it's the cheaper option but at least as far as AOU is concerned, it is. :)
The SSC payment plan is pretty tempting... is that where you ordered from? Even considering fees its still very tempting
I missed you too!

Yeah sure Henry's great.... but l hope she's done playing matchmaker :slap so embarrassing :lol
Mark 45 is like combination of mark 43 and mark 3
Thats an interesting take. I definitely see some 43 in there(the shoulders). Not seeing the MK3 similarity though :dunno The head design certainly seems unique, as does the neck design. It looks superb regardless, day 1 PO for me

cheaper

I see it the same way. I'm really** glad the speculation of whether or not the 45 was actually real ended up being true. Even though we all knew he wouldn't have just 2 armors from the movie (43 & 44).

Yeah, I see more Mark 4 in it than 3. The faceplate definitely looks edgier, the inner corner of the eyes is angled the other way compared to the previous helmets.

haha yes... it was pretty much confirmed once the Hulkbuster was shown. Tony doesnt revisit old suits after he uses a new one :lol

Maybe based on past sales they are just confident that they'll sell enough regardless of anything new coming along, I can certainly understand the need for NRD with regards to Sideshow & some retailers, as for the exclusive..., it didn't interest me at all to be honest, it just seemed too much of a gimmick to entice the people that like the idea of exclusive. :)

& I preordered my Hulkbuster from Collectibles Direct, I get a discount as a regular customer plus had some reward points to use too so it made the figure a bit less expensive..., getting it for £566.49 delivered where as it would've worked out about £700.00 if buying from Sideshow direct (including shipping & import charges).
