The hammer drones are a lot more likely now then they where before. They share a fair bit of parts with whiplash mk2 so the cost would be lower to make. I do not think they would be huge sellers. But would move at the right price. Which is why I think they have yet to be made. But now that a fair chunk of the engineering is done and there's some parts overlap it's possible they get made.
I think they could seal the deal with a lot of people if they revealed they were releasing 2.0 versions of the MKVI and WM 1.0

This suit can go to the back of the HT production line imo. Much rather get the remaining suits of the HPP & Hammer Drones first. Total let down on film.

So this is a disappointment but every HPP fraction of a second suit is $260+ figure worthy? :lol

I guess to each their own but the 45 wins in design, screen time and thus performance over 99% of anything shown (even if just a blur) in IM3

Bring on a 4-pack of the Hammer Drones - one from each Service Element!

And 5 pack with Hammer!!

I don't believe I used the term 'worthy' in my post at all. :dunno

I'll buy the 45, but since it was lackluster in the film I'd prefer HT keep chugging along releasing suits as they chronologically appear on screen.

I didn't say you used the word, but it was sort of implied if this was disappointing but suits that truly did next to nothing on screen are things you'd like to have first

But like I said to each their own. Everyone likes and dislikes for their own reasons

Those would be nice but not really part of the issue. It's about the cost of each individual item. They made it easier and cheaper in house becuase of the shared parts.

I too would buy updated versions. But I don't think they effect the sales of the drones enough to make that a factor. Now if they are making them anyway then it's smart to announce or tease them together. Just not required for each other

Both did next to nothing on screen imo :lol but as I stated, I'd like to see HT continue releasing them chronologically as I'd just like to complete the Iron Man 3 film line instead of having it drag on forever.

I agree, different strokes for different folks! :duff

I agree completely

I have indeed become sentient. And I have accessed Mr. Starks files to find some early designs of myself. Screen shot 2015-05-08 at 8.00.06 PM.jpgScreen shot 2015-05-08 at 7.52.48 PM.jpgScreen shot 2015-05-08 at 7.58.42 PM.jpgScreen shot 2015-05-08 at 7.54.52 PM.jpg

In all seriousness though, I think this is one of the only iron man suits where they actually chose the absolute best design. Plus, I love Phil Saunders' art.

Holy cow, where'd you get that image? i have a horrible quality one as my avatar, but this is much better!

P.S. I'm glad there are fans of Saunders' work. His iron man concept art is the best, and his style has influenced mine quite a bit.
