Another thing that threw me was that the sentries were designed by Stucker and not Ultron. Was the Prime body already assembled as well? I didn't quite catch that bit at the time.

Well I assumed they were built by strucker as Ultron used around 3 of them, but it would of been nice to get some explanation. I was hoping to see Ultron building his body but it didn't happen. The reveal of the Ultimate Ultron was epic tho. "What doesn't kill you....makes you stronger!" or something like that :lol

This is the figure I want of Ultron, it's the beefiest and most badass and also I missed out on Prime at the price I was happy to pay.

After watching the film, I think this will be my last priority now...

Ultimate Ultron was cool and all, but he had less impressive showings than Ultron Prime despite having a more durable body. The fact that Vision's body was meant to be the third and final form after Prime actually made me view Ultimate Ultron as the compromised version of what he was intending for himself. I actually ended up liking the Ultron Sentry Prime more, especially with its last role in the film.

SO MUCH WAS CUT!

Yes Ultimate Ultron was very disappointing IMO. He barely fought anyone at all and died very easily. Vision stole the show for me, I love how Ultron talked about him being the end result and he really wanted a better humanity to start with him inside the Vision body.
Sentry Prime was so cool. :clap

Yeah I was so surprised by how...

...they melded Ultron's desire for a more transcendent humanoid body and Vision's origin. It made for a more interesting angle while still drawing that connection of Vision being Ultron's original idea/creation. Indeed, I actually ended up liking the Sentry Prime (and Ultron Prime) more than Ultimate Ultron. I especially love the huge role that the Sentries played in the final part and how it was the last body that Ultron used.

I don't really agree, he took out Vision, Thor and Iron Man separately during the battle and had some other good moments. He wasn't killed after getting blasted by Thor, Iron Man and Vision using an Infinity Stone! at the same time, he was damaged badly and retreated but not destroyed, now that's badass!. He may have had more moments but I can't recall everything that happened. The scene between him and SW where she pulls out his reactor/power source was intense, her hex powers were the only thing that could penetrate his armour just like the comics.

Yeah! I thought Ultimate Ultron was good too.

I think it just didn't help that he was mainly stalling for the city to fly up so he didn't get to show off more. That said, I do prefer Ultron Prime since it had more of my favorite dialogue scenes, not to mention it got a lot of impressive choreography during his fight scenes with Cap and IM respectively.

Actually thats a better assessment, what I should have said is he died very easily and didnt do much [compared to what I wanted to see] :D
He did actually get some fighting in, and he lasted a little while longer after being damaged, even getting the jet and killing an avenger.
I was hoping he would be more involved in some close fighting with all the Avengers at once, but he clearly wasnt a match for them

Yeah I was projecting more for Ultimate Ultron but...
... it ended up making his fights as Ultron Prime even more impressive since the latter got shown off more. Ultimate Ultron felt more like the obvious yet durable target/decoy during the entire big fight but it also made for less spectacular showings due to the heroes being more focused on evacuating the civilians than outright duking it out with Ultron. Admittedly, it did make the Sentries more awesome in my eyes, especially since they were the ones continually attacking the heroes with Ultron occasionally conversing with them through the Sentries themselves.

I dunno, I seen it a little differently. But we all take different things from our experiences. I'll focus more on stuff like this during my second viewing.

It could just be me though! I mean, I liked Ultimate Ultron as well...

...but sadly, most of my favorite scenes from the film barely had it as Ultron's main form so I didn't find it to be as memorable as Prime or even the Sentry Prime.

Totally understandable, not questioning your opinions as honestly I tend to agree Prime had the better scenes. Just don't think Ultimate could be considered as having a poor showing, not that you said that either :lol

One Ultron scene from the whole film really sticks in my head tho, other than the ending with Vision.

That's when Prime is talking to Widow and then Ultimate rips Prime apart and walks through the Prime body as it falls to the fall. He should have saved that for all the Avengers to see, they'd be intimidated then :lol probably...

Yeah I didn't think Ultimate Ultron had poor showings in terms of durability/power especially compared to Prime.

I guess in terms of spectacle I think Prime was just lucky enough to get more full-on stunts than Ultimate. But I agree, THAT was definitely my favorite Ultimate Ultron scene. :clap

Ultimate Ultron torn Prime like a piece of paper.

Im gonna get Ultimate just cos he's closer looking to Comics...*both* were badass in the movie.
