I have has this in my house in the box for over a week and haven't opened it yet at all until today; partly because my schedule is off the chart lately and also because I know I have to do some major reshuffling of my shelves and figures to find a place to display him. I still haven't figured all that out, but I had to get him out of the box and look at him. I didn't unpack any of the accessories but looking at the figure itself I am so impressed. The sculpt is WAY better than the pictures I have seen, and the pictures I have been seen haven't been the least bit disappointing to me. It just looks even better in hand. The costume also looks really well done. All the positive reviews seem to have been right. I need to get on my project of making a space for him so he can lived out of the box soon.

One thing that did surprise me though was how tall the figure is. I have my AOU Cap in a pose I didn't want to undo, but I think Strange might be taller if I posed them both standing up straight. I don't think it matters, this isn't a character that I have a height criteria for or preference for, I was just surprised. Perhaps it is his long neck and high hair that is making him a bit taller. Interesting.

Anyway, I am glad I got him. I do wish there was a smaller stand option. I do have plenty of spare oval stands, but it would have been nice to get similar art on a smaller stand too. Maybe someone will do a nice custom that can be picked up.

Nice to have the doctor in. Came in today. Really happy with him!

Anyone have a scuff above the lip? It's raised enough that it casts shadows under shelf lighting. Hard to get a picture of without using extra light. It's definitely peeled plastic when you get close enough - it's to the left above his moustache. SS claims it's not a defect, and says it won't book me a replacement because these are hand made. I've had paint variations but never plastic being damaged. Any advice from others who pursued a replacement from SS? I get it's small quibble in the grand scheme of the universe, but if they stood by to replace an AOU Cap sculpt with wonky eyes for me, I would expect they would cover this.

I finally got my Doc today after work. Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Outstanding figure. I like that with the poseability and accessories I'll be futzing with this guy for a long long time. I really wish they would have gone with a gooseneck stand for him though. That plastic tube isn't cutting it for me. Luckily I have an extra Falcon stand. I threw a piece of felt over the SHIELD logo and bam! Instant satisfaction. Here's a really terrible iPhone photo of my inaugural pose.

I made a little floating book stand out of a coat hanger and some polyester batting... Don't know if it's staying but for now it's ok

I was finally able to unbox mine this evening and now the fun begins, finding just the right pose. :)

I've had him since Thursday but still haven't had a chance to unbox/pose him - just a cursory inspection. Now I have Wonder Woman waiting as well. It will probably be Saturday before I have the time. Still very excited to have him in the collection.

Dude, where did you get the extra 1/6 accesories? They look awesome with Mr.Dr.

Just got mine yesterday :clap What an awesome figure! He has a ton of shelf presence. Strange immediately became one of my faves in my collection.

Just got my figure today; really awesome! Only thing that bothers me is it's difficult to display him with the provided stand; the cape doesn't sit behind him properly due to the pole, and you can't really work around it, either. So I'll probably get a regular black stand for him.

One glaring problem. This figure is so great in most ways, which is why the lack of ankle articulation stands out so much.

Why, after years of adding ankle articulation to figures wearing knee-high boots by splitting the boot at the ankle, do they not do it with Dr Strange? it's okay when he's posed fairly neutral but any figure that comes with a flight stand NEEDS to have ankle movement, otherwise, he his feet look stiff and dumb when he's in the air.

I don't understand what the thinking was behind this.

My guess is that it was to not break up the strap that wraps around the leg and foot.
