IKR! I think it works this way:

When we see promo pictures, the pictures showcase the figure to make
it seem like the real Iron Patriot from the movie.

So we perceive it from promo pics as "the real suit that looks like a toy."

If we see pictures of it displayed at Toy Hunters or beside a human being,
we perceive it as "a toy that looks like the real suit."

Hence, liking it better.

..i hope I made sense, but just a thought..

I totally agree and that photo of Howard Chan taken with the Iron Patriot was the trigger that made me PO this figure yesterday.
Nice photo by the way but cant seem to find it in any forum and wonder where the source is from...
