Yeah, the Age of Ultron line may bankrupt me. May.

Well fingers crossed it doesn't..., I have a feeling trying to buy all of the Iron Man suits will leave me in financial difficulties, there's just no end in sight, I'd have to find something else to collect if there were though. lol ;)

It will, definitely the worst decision I've made in the last 5 years. ;)

Luckily when it comes to IM3 I think I have all the suits I will want (thats 2, but who truely knows) as I am not picking up any more from that line least for the time being (although Starboost is bootiful!).

That doesn't mean I wont consider another from AoU if I like it (and then there are the further sequels), just not HB as it looks amazing but would see me on the street!

:lol I envy you, I don't have the discipline atm to pick and choose a few IM here and there. I'd be hard pressed to narrow my collection down to a dozen figures, I just like them so damn much!

I skipped Python because I initially looked at it & thought do I really want every suit? When I pondered & decided of course I do, I'd missed getting it & it's been bugging me ever since..., I refuse to pay after market prices but I'll just have to do my best not to miss a suit again, maybe (as these event exclusives might not all make it into my collection because customs, shipping & handling charges make them so expensive to buy).

So far every Iron Man suit I've seen has impressed me, I do wonder if one day I'll decide no more but for the time being I'll get all that I can. :)

It takes strong will power indeed... being honest... there have been some hard choices but at the moment I am happy with the ones I have (Silver Centurion and Python) and then the Mark 3, 43 and to be honest if I like it the rumoured 45 will probably be added to my shelf.

Possibly missing out on Heartbreaker and Starboost and instead having the chance of 2/3 of the non Iron Man Avengers is a good trade off in my book.

I hear that, for me Python was a no brainer as it will stand out in a collection of Iron Man suits. I can see why others may have skipped it though.

As long as your happy with what your getting I think that's the main thing..., so far I have 9 Hot Toys figures, 8 Iron Man suits (mark II, Midas, Red Snapper, War Machine 2.0, Iron Patriot, mark 42, Siver Centurion & Peacemaker) & a Tony Stark. I've got another 9 suits preordered, 2 of which will turn up next month (Heartbreaker & Hot Rod), so although it bugs me that I pondered on Python too long..., I can at least still appreciate what I've managed to get. I did think about paying through the nose for Python but then had a rethink & decided if I'm going to spend a small fortune on just one figure then I may as well buy Igor, that's what I've done..., I know it'll be better value for money (to me) & it's such a unique suit too so I think it was the right choice to make really. New stuff wise I'm hoping to get Blue Steel when that goes up for preorder & I think we may see Tank sometime soon(ish) as its a repaint of Heartbreaker but the most anticipated preorder has to be Hulkbuster. :)

Didn't realize the EX is wait listed for this guy. I haven't even placed my order yet but i'm in no rush and the EX isn't that big of a deal for me. Will order when it gets closer to release.

Had it been mentioned before that the base of Mark 43 is exactly the same as QS001's, with a somewhat different paintjob?

Easiest $345 SSC and HT will be making.

I think its shrunk down though no?

Doesn't look like it, IMO. The base looks too spacious for the 1/6 Mark 43.

Compared to QS001

It's funny that I never noticed til someone asked @ the OSR Facebook page :lol I knew it was a QS base, but didn't occur to me that it was exactly the same as QS001's.

hmm interesting, cant say im complaining, really nice base, but every damn HT dio base has the same problem... no room to plant both feet level

Yup. I had to use the broken beam to level with the rocks on my QS001. Don't want to keep one of my figure's knees bent as it would surely ruin the rubber on the costume. No problem with Mark 43, though those rocks would limit the posing options.

I quite like the base, they could've just used the base from the other diecast figures though so I think either way there's no real difference as it'd be a reused base regardless. :)
