I'm suddenly feeling VERY happy, I decided as my dad is a Marvel fan & likes Iron Man most of all, that I'd show him the pictures of this HUGE figure & whilst doing so I shared my frustrations about the possible price & probably not being able to afford it..., he's only gone & said he'll buy it for me.

I have a similar story. I showed this to my son last night. He said it looks phenomenal, but its probably going to cost a fortune.

I said, don't worry I'm gonna buy it.

We've had the collection going since he was 10.

Yeah, I think until we see some regular figs next to the HB figure its hard to get a proper size perspective on this. Probably 25'' tall?

How do some of you rationalize passing on such a prominent suit as this and rather purchase 5 other suits from IM3 that barely had any screen time?

How do some of you rationalize passing on such a prominent suit as this and rather purchase 5 other suits from IM3 that barely had any screen time?

This was my plan as I passed on all IM3 suits so far.... I lucked out! The MK43 and this suit will look great. Curious how this will stand out in the movie.

That's awesome. This figure will definitely be pride of place in any collection I think..., it may even be the best thing Hot Toys ever makes (maybe).

Why have anyone have to rationalize buying either in the first place? If you want 5 HPP suits buy them, if you want this, buy it. If you want both, buy them.

Uh....money? Not everyone is rich. A lot of people dread the price of this thing. Every few posts there is speculating on price.

Then again, I see people picking up Hot Rods/Starboosts/Bones/Peacemakers and multiple other suits from IM3 that are obviously not as significant as this Hulkbuster. When all is said and done, Hulk fighting Iron Man may go down as one the greatest scenes of all these Marvel movies.

Just interesting how some people rationalize spending and what's outrageous ($700+ for Hulkbuster), but is okay to buy other suits/figures that add up to more money.

I'm curious...how much bigger is the Hulkbuster compared to the HT Hulk figure? If you stand the Hulk straight.

I have the HT Hulk and in order to fit him in the detolf and still have space on the other shelf above him, I had to bend his knees and torso a little. Just trying to get an idea by comparing it to the largest figure I own.

Hulkbuster looks like it's so much bigger than the Hulk. But it should be the right size.... The Hulk is 18" and Hulkbuster is 23/24"

You can see parts flying in like in IM3 and joining the Hulkbuster. I hadn't noticed it before seeing this as a looping gif.

Among the dumber things in IM3.
* Every part of his suit has a whole set of reaction control thrusters and enough energy to fly across the country and still be ready for battle on arrival.
* if the suits are capable of acting autonomously as robots why have the individual parts fly? Have the whole suit fly in as one.
* If Tony RC is so good as to rescue Air Force one without being in the suit why subject himself to personal danger again? He doesn't ever need to be in the suit again. Especially against The Hulk.
* Tony is able to direct a suit to quickly "gobble up" a person faster than they can react (Pepper, Killian) why not direct the Hulkbuster to enclose Hulk and immobilize him long enough to shoot him into space toward planet Sakaar? (suddenly methinks I might've figured out the end of the film)

I don't know how big your Hulk figure is but the Hulkbuster is supposed to be 22" tall.

I would've thought it obvious really, when people look at what they perseve as value for money they say to themselves..., do I want 1 big suit or do I want 4/5 smaller ones??? It's great to say you own the Hulkbuster but I think it's equally great to say you've got Bones, Starboost, Peacemaker & Hot Rod OR any other variety of these suits.
