My Hulk with a slight bend in the knees and waist is 17". So he should be 18" standing straight up. So HB should be 4" taller. I was thinking i could pass on this because i have the SS Hulkbuster, it looks great and fits in with my 1/6 figures but this has so much more........everything. Day one PO for me.

This is a very unique figure, I'm passing on it, but I do appreciate it's design. Looks freaking awesome. I love all the extra lights on him. I presume these light's are extra arc reactors for added power?

Can I see a picture of your SS Hulkbuster please? I only knew Bowen made one, didn't know there was another.

I'd never seen that Hulkbuster either. It was $450 and 21" in height, though it did include the base. Much slimmer than the AoU version.

I'm curious...how much bigger is the Hulkbuster compared to the HT Hulk figure? If you stand the Hulk straight.

I have the HT Hulk and in order to fit him in the detolf and still have space on the other shelf above him, I had to bend his knees and torso a little. Just trying to get an idea by comparing it to the largest figure I own.

The Hulk is about 17 to 18 inches tall.

It is too tall for Hulk. He should be no taller than 16 inches. But the horse is already out of the barn and I doubt HT corrects it for 2.0 (assuming we get a 2.0).

You can see parts flying in like in IM3 and joining the Hulkbuster. I hadn't noticed it before seeing this as a looping gif.

Among the dumber things in IM3.
* Every part of his suit has a whole set of reaction control thrusters and enough energy to fly across the country and still be ready for battle on arrival.
* if the suits are capable of acting autonomously as robots why have the individual parts fly? Have the whole suit fly in as one.
* If Tony RC is so good as to rescue Air Force one without being in the suit why subject himself to personal danger again? He doesn't ever need to be in the suit again. Especially against The Hulk.
* Tony is able to direct a suit to quickly "gobble up" a person faster than they can react (Pepper, Killian) why not direct the Hulkbuster to enclose Hulk and immobilize him long enough to shoot him into space toward planet Sakaar? (suddenly methinks I might've figured out the end of the film)

Because it looks cooler to have all the parts fly in independently. That's pretty much it.

And theoretically, Tony could be chilling on a yacht off of the Greek Islands, remote-controlling HB as it slugs it out with the Hulk. But that wouldn't be any fun now, would it?

Thanks, not sure how I missed that one to be honest but it's only in the last couple of years that I gave in & started to properly collect Iron Man. That statue looks pretty cool, Sideshow always do good work though with their collectibles.

The one thing I wish the movie version had was the honeycomb pattern on the shoulders like the comics version. Preferably as a semi-lightup feature.

Has anyone considered, maybe Ultron Hulk is bigger than Avengers1 Hulk? Compared to Hulkbuster, their size is pretty close in the trailer. I'd say Hulkbuster is probably 2 heads taller. If thats the case, then at 18" vs 22" the current HT Hulk fits perfectly.

I would've thought it obvious really, when people look at what they perseve as value for money they say to themselves..., do I want 1 big suit or do I want 4/5 smaller ones??? It's great to say you own the Hulkbuster but I think it's equally great to say you've got Bones, Starboost, Peacemaker & Hot Rod OR any other variety of these suits.

To be honest too... at least there is some design variety in many of those cameo suits with nicknames... Don't get me wrong, as much as your III, IV, VI, VII are all significant movie-verse suits, there isn't a lot to seperate them...

I think Hulkbuster is partly kneeling there and Hulk is also partially in the air

I think Hulkbuster is poised to become a pop culture phenomenon. I can see figures in numerous scales and price points. How about a Marvel Select figure-in-a-figure for $80 to $100? Some Disney toy exec is rubbing their hands together with glee as we speak.
