Has anyone put theirs on the shelf with Han and Chewie yet? I kinda wanna see what that setup looks like.

Just pre-ordered the exclusive. I wasn't going to get Luke but this terrible, terrible forum with its pithy band of photographers made me realise not getting it would be a mistake.

Silly question - how does the blade come off the saber? Does it pull out? Unscrew? Or is there an unlit saber somewhere in this box that I'm just not seeing?

I agree, LOTS of gold on Luke's head.

You simply pull it out. (yes, there is innuendo in that statement.)

I really love Luke but I'm having such a hard time displaying him. I just can't make up my mind about what I want to show him off with. It seems like every other day or so I decide I don't like the pose I picked and then spend a half hour futzing with him and giving him a different look. So hard to choose a look for him with all of the accessories, but I suppose that's a good problem to have.

Here is my post from the 31st, glad I wasn't the only one that had a super stuck one....;)

He comes w/ a separate complete lightsaber hilt/blade together in one piece, that you have to pull apart; the light up hilt is perm. attached to the extra forearm/batt. pack itself.

FYI: I had a HELL of a time getting the saber out of the secondary hilt as shipped, I pulled, and pulled, twisted L & R and for awhile I thought it was accidentally glued in. Finally, I tried again with a slight twist, and pull and it came out.

Finally snapped a picture of Luke. View attachment 234983

I like this display and may copy it; it tells a story everyone is familiar with and works with the expression on his face. I have a REAL HARD time putting a figure in a dynamic pose with a neutral expression on the face. We need to see more dynamic expressions vice blank stares. Well done!

I like that thoughtful look you have given Ben. My Luke is still in his box as I've ran out of room on my Star Wars shelf!
