Im somewhat on the fence of getting this figure. Luke is one of my absolute favorites from the OT, and there's alot i like about this HT release. The face looks great to me, and he comes with lots of accessories. But i cant shake the feeling that the top part, the jacket, looks i dont know...too puffy? Like the material is too stiff or something.
I've seen and read alot of reviews and only one or two people have taken note of that. So i'm guessing most people aren't bothered by it. Anyone else that have the figure in hand feel the same way?

Puffy shirt for sure but some members are having luck with "water treatments" to make them look better; Luke's ANH outfit literally hung on him...and this does not.

I like this Luke, but Im holding out and hoping for Hot toys Luke from Return of the Jedi. Im sure it would be a long wait, but someday...

Sideshow wasn't responding to my e-mail, and their chat feature has been turned off the last couple days, even during business hours. But I called and they said they could set my pay-off of Flexpay for this Friday when the rest of the shipment is expected to be sent out. Yay!!!

Rumour is Jedi Luke is in the pipeline. I bet we see a pre-order for that within 6 months. At first I didn't want a Jedi Luke but the green sabre would be cool. If they do the wind swept hair look from Jabba's sail barge, that will likely seal the deal. Always thought that was one of his coolest scenes.

I am pretty much getting ANH version of these characters. But I'll buy Jedi Luke (in addition) in a heartbeat.

Dang! Both looks are so different, though, and ANH so iconic. Personally I'd rather get both and rotate them if I have to. They both just represent different things to me. I get it, though. Multiples of any character get hard to justify.

Yeah I completely agree. Sod it, I might just get both! Like you say both represent two key times for the character. I'm just wanting a vader vs Luke shelf in my detolf. Missed out on han and chewie, hoping we might get different versions down the line.

Have Besbin and this and will definitely get a Jedi Luke as I have a SSC ESB/ROTJ Vader Exclusive to go with it.

This is a nice figure, but I just do not like the frown they gave the mouth. The original proto did not have this to this degree. Changes the overall look. The sculpt on the front of the box is better.

Yep! I'm very happy with my Jedi Luke PF, but I'd buy a 1/6 version in a heartbeat if they got it right.
