Got my Luke Jnix sculpt today. For me it's nearly there but not quite, although paint apps are very impressive. I've put a comparison picture below with the Jnix sculpt and what IMO is the best combo, the HT Farmboy head wit the SSC Red Five hair sculpt.

Can't wait to see what Jnix does with Old Ben! :yess:

The Jnix sculpt is looking better each time I see it. After seeing it more and more, I believe it's only the wide, sunken in eyes that is holding it back a bit.

That's the best I've seen it look. Photoshop?

Now we have Dopey will Jnix be making the other six dwarves as well?

I think QG's chosen a somewhat lower angle for his pics than others we've seen and it is helping the likeness a bit.

There's something very peculiar and polarizing about this headsculpt, even to me. Sometimes I'm loving it, other times it looks like Steve Zahn with Aaron Eckhart's chin.:dunno

All I know is that I like Jnix's Luke sculpt more than my HT Luke head, but not enough to buy it and swap it out. It's an improvement in likeness, but there is definitely something weird about it, can never quite put my finger on what it is.

QG's pics make it seem like his Luke head doesn't have quite so much of the greenish 5 o'clock shadow that has been quite prominent in other pics.

Looks like Luke is about to blow a bubble gum bubble. There are elements in the custom that look good, but the sum of it is no Bueno.

These are pretty much my sentiments as well, I'm waffling back and forth.

The first picture I saw of this figure with the Silentsurfer paint job, I thought the likeness was far superior to the HT sculpt. However, the expression was a bit weird to me. Then many of the subsequent pictures I saw, the sculpt to me just looked nothing like Hamill, while still possessing the weird expression. Then these recent pictures of it look really good again, but after seeing it from side views, the eyes look like they are a bit too wide (which I think is a big factor in helping give it the weird expression) and a bit too sunken in.

To the point where I'm content with just sticking with the HT sculpt.

Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford - the two most difficult faces to capture? Well, there's more Harrison Ford captured in sculpts now, but Mark remains elusive yet getting closer. Maybe not as many attempts because he hasn't had as many starring roles.

I sometimes think it's not that there are more difficult than others. It's more that we are so familiar with their faces because we've seen their movies so many times. Doubly so with Han / Indy.

I think Robert Downey Jr. is at that level of familiarity now too.

Maybe. I dunno.
