I think HT is just unloading its OT figures quickly is all. Making room for TFA. TFA sales must have been much better than expected.

So no more fixes on old stuff.

Yeah, just thinking of how they swapped Han/Chewie with the Stormies basically (in terms of planned release dates) and then even Obi-Wan and Vader seem to have swapped places. I guess there's not much left to delay though. (Plus I'm only thinking of SW here, could bump some unrelated figure not on my radar like Batman, or nothing as you said.)

Too much shipping too close together. Oh well, after all this (Han & Chewie, Luke, Obi, 3P0, Leia) I only need one more figure; Jedi Luke. Done with Star Wars after that. Oh wait, will probably get a Dagobah Yoda too if HT makes him. Currently only have SSC Ep III Yoda as a stand in.
Currently own HT Bespin Luke, Stormtrooper two pack; SSC R2, ESB Boba Fett, ANH Vader (modified), RotJ Vader, Emperor with throne, and two Stormtroopers.

I'm new to form and just started collecting 1/6 Star Stars figures and I have a newb question I hope you all can answer. I have the Hot Toys Luke and Obi-Wan setup as flex pay with Slideshow but now they are coming out sooner than expected which is great. If I want to get them when they are released from Sideshow, what do I need to do? Thanks!

Welcome! Typically you will get an e-mail from Sideshow offering the option to pay early and get the figure when it arrives. Now, this situation is much different where the actual flexpay doesn't start until January (at least for me), so you'd essentially be asked to pay in full in December. I'm not sure they'll offer that option or if they'll handle it another way. This is certainly not typical in the SSC/HT collecting universe!

I went and preordered a couple of days ago on flex, and I think the last payment is April or something. I'm glad I did, would like it sooner but would've just had too much coming over the holiday period. I note the final flex pay if I'd have done it today would have been January.

Just the fact that the email for this came out before the Stormtrooper. Perhaps I misspoke.

I set up with flex pay for a reason. If they tell me i have to pay in full instead of honoring the flex i signed up for then they can shove it. It will also affect whether i buy anything else from SS.

I haven't ordered this figure yet. I wonder if the short delivery window is an indication of a smaller production run?

They won't. You can Flex in-stock items as well, so at worst, your Flex would start earlier. If this arrives in December, your Flex can likely still start in January.

I have no idea where I have been that I missed this, but I had no idea that this figure came with an LED light up lightsaber. Anyone have any idea about how this is going to work? Will it effect what hand I can put the lightsaber in if I want him using it with a single hand?
